I'd buy a government. America's for sale, and you can get a good deal on it. And make a healthy profit. Or maybe tear it apart. Start with assumptions that a million people are smarter than one.

Understanding In a Crash 08-02-2005 08:39 PM

Team America is really overrated.

BridgeToSolace 08-02-2005 08:41 PM
Team America is really good.
I agree.

Understanding In a Crash 08-02-2005 08:43 PM

It wasn't that funny except for some scenes and I felt like it was directed towards 10-14 year olds :thumb: with dirty licks.

If anything goes wrong, just give us the signal. Do you remember the signal?

[flails arms widely]

/pissed pants

That movie owns you.

Understanding In a Crash 08-02-2005 08:48 PM

Yeah that was funny. The puke scene reminded me of Family Guy.

The humor was either so stupid that it was funny and when it tried to be funny it ended up being cliche. So it was a mix bag of jelly beans.

Gnarmageddon 08-02-2005 08:48 PM

I fell asleep halfway through it. :-/

BridgeToSolace 08-02-2005 08:49 PM

God, you people have not taste for good satire.

Same, I've never fallen asleep through a movie being sober too.. It was a low point in my life I'd have to say.

thomas is fast 08-02-2005 09:26 PM

I really want to see that. I still haven't gotten around to renting it.

I did buy Wind Waker today though...finally.

BridgeToSolace 08-02-2005 09:28 PM

Wind Waker is not a fun game.

Understanding In a Crash 08-02-2005 09:28 PM

The best movie I seen recently was Narc and it was long overdue... It definitely gave me a surprise.

I like it. And I am mildly enjoying Paper Mario. Kind of reminds me of old Pokemon games, lol.

thomas is fast 08-02-2005 09:36 PM

I'm gonna go eat out at the Casino with my sister. I'll be on later tonight if I'm still awake.

My n64 emulator makes black boxes around all the graphics. I hate it.

To get rid of them, I have to change the video settings which end up making the game so slow it's not worth playing.

I have up.

My ps2 and xbox rentals should be coming in the male within a day or two, though. And I've been playing Astro Boy on my GBA. Good times.

It was all right, but it doesn't come close to the other Zelda games.
It was all right, but it doesn't come close to the other Zelda games.
Maybe I just didn't like it for my overall distaste for the Gamecube system.

And the fact that having to sail around to each location is lame as hell.

MattSharpIsCool 08-02-2005 09:51 PM

Team America is an awesome movie.

The best part is when he's kidnapped by the terrorists in Egypt, and he's in the back of the car while team america is chasing him, and he's waving his arms around, giving the signal.

"He's taunting us! The bastard!"

That movie was ****ing great.

Puppet sex pwns you.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 08-02-2005 10:48 PM

I really didn't want to see that movie...Haha...

I had an adventure today.

Let's just say:
I can't rollerblade.
Hit the curb at the right angle and you will do a somersault.
Getting lost in creepy neighbors while in socks CARRYING rollerblades is bad.
Don't go to your boyfriends house in a wet wifebeater.
Watch out for clowns at Blockbuster.
And lastly:
Don't look sad in front of clowns. They WILL attack you.

Permanent Solution 08-02-2005 10:51 PM

Hi kids.

Cady: My rollerblading story>yours.

MattSharpIsCool 08-02-2005 10:53 PM

Why didnt you want to see that movie? Its great.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 08-02-2005 10:54 PM

Let's hear it, VINCE.

I don't know...I don't enjoy alot of really crude humor...It's just...unappealing to me.

hey, you're not cory! 08-02-2005 10:54 PM

Team America is amazing.

Black Ink 08-02-2005 10:58 PM

Yes I agree. Team America was great.

I love the part where he infiltrates the terrorists, and convinces them he's one of them.

"Thats when I called a jihad on their ass. And if you don't believe me...I'll call a jihad on you."

Permanent Solution 08-02-2005 10:59 PM

So it was my birthday...Freshman or Sophomore year...and so after the night where we all hung out at my house, we decided to go to the new skatepark by my house. I hadn't rollerbladed in years, but I took my rollerblades to try it out. So I finally work up the courage to go into the bowl...but it turns out you can't have brakes on the back of them...because the brake will catch. So one 720 and face plant later, I had shattered my nose past recognition and was passed out in a pool of blood.

:D

Ewww.

Haha. My rollerblading consisted of an unexplainable momentum carring my along at an unnerving speed, until I hit a hill.

Oh, god, I was scared crapless. I decided "I can either go down the hill, eventually losing all control, and die....Or...I can hit that curb right there and hopefully miss the sidewalk and land on that dirt...Yeah...That dirt looks soft."

I chose the latter. Crashed into the sidewalk, SOMERSAULTED over the whole thing, and landed in the dirt.

Except, the dirt lied. It was not soft at all. It was quite painful.

Then we took off our rollerblades and decided to walk the rest of the way, which involved cutting through a golf course, and taking the crosswalk over a busy 4-lane.

It was soooo hot outside, so my friend Becca, decided to play in a sprinkler,a nd dragged me in.

Then we realized I was wearing a white tank top. :upset:

/hopes Dan doesn't see that last statement.

BridgeToSolace 08-02-2005 11:10 PM

Cady, that was the perfect story. Why?

Because first it was funny:
