fleshgod apocalypse is good, not best of the year, but who cares about the "classical" tacked on stuff, the rest of it is solid and fun as ****. why does it have to be slow to be good?

insulting fleshgod is stupid, they're not really 'best of' anything material but they are no where near bad or mediocre.

because its that fast the entire time. if the songs were shorter maybe, or if they threw in some variation.

IDK I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. But yeah, the classical gimmick gets annoying at points, though some of the interludes are cool.

As far as brutal dm goes, Sepsism and Malignancy are so much better honestly.

But the production is gritty and they don't hyperblast so you probably wouldn't get those bands.

Aeon of Horus gave me a headache when I heard the album

I remember it being sloppy wank with some cool parts

as for Fleshgod, they're infinitely more badass than The Faceless

i thought Aeon of Horus was crap. mainly the vocals were boring as ****.
