And they are all better than the originals...except for maybe Tuesdays Gone

I like Tuesday's Gone. I think the original wasn't nearly as good.

I like Metallica's version of turn the page, but I haven't heard the original. and could any of you upload the Metallica version of Sabbra Cadabra? if not, I'll post it in the YSI thread.

that's because you're a metallica fan. i haven't heard any of the originals, but most covers i've heard are worse than the original

I'm not sure because allthose bands that play light-not headbanging-all about the girls-music (example van halen) are some times classified as metal so metallica might be heavy metal or thrash.

Plain ol' heavy metal...with a hint of thrash/speed

Kill Em' All and Ride The Lightning were Thrash albums, with a dash of straight up metal influence. The next 3 albums were just Metal, and then after that they delved into adding some alternative sounds to their Metal.

I dont know how you can say Master of puppets, battery, disposable heroes, and damage inc arent thrash.

They dont really fit in in any one group.
they're kinda here and there on every album.
