No, this is and always should be a Classic rock thread. The only jam bands we should discuss in here would also have to be considered classic rock. i.e. The Allman Brothers

If we called it the Classic Rock Community thread, that just means avid fans of classic rock can come here and talk about stuff. it's basically all we do now, except then we can talk about jam bands and other forms of music without "being off topic"

well theres already a jam band thread in other music, so it's kind of odd having another one don't you think? or will we just mold them together or something? i dont know how this stuff works.

i'm fine with whatever someone with authority decides that means mods and classic rock regulars, not just any member/n00b.

It is in a different forum. They are like different states. Besides, there is a Forced Listening inside of every forum. But there is already a community thread inside of this forum. Two community forums is stupid. Also, this is a music thread, it should be kept that way. And no, who ever said they are altering the "community thread consept"...no. This is not the YMCA.

I like 3, because while the R & M community thread is made up of the R & M community, our thread only is only us 15 or so (and the occasional other kid), so its a CR community. Because usually its just us.

I don't think we should have Jam Band in the title, because that limits the other genres we talk about. Community would be good because we wouldn't have to worry about spamming.

No it's the Classic Rock Discussion/Community Thread. First and foremost is classic rock discussion, and the community just makes it so our tight-knit group of regulars can discuss other topics in here(safe from all the metalheads.)
