I do think some of the Metallica covers are better than the originals, but not all. I personally think Metallica's version of Whiskey in the jar is 80% better than the original, most will disagree but the song seems to have been brought to life by Metallica, Not just that the video is amazing!!! Anyone ever saw it?? I have never heard Diamond Headz - Prince, in fact I have never heard a single song by Diamond head, I think it would be worth listening to though. I always loved the song Turn the page from Garage INC, Number 4 I think... I thought it was a very light and melodic song, broke the album up a little also, so it was really good. I was shocked when I heard the original by Bob Seger though lol!! I thought it would be quite heavy, but erm... I guess not lol... Who originally performed So ****ing What??? Great song, Would be cool to hear the original. |
Originally recorded by The Anti-Nowhere League, apparantly.
It's just called So What! |

It's an old Irish drinking song, but was popularised by Thin Lizzy. |
