Beckham is overated as hell, but still a good player.

Like I said, he gets Michael Jordan-type hype when he isn't nearly as good...I could be wrong here and correct me if I am but he was never head-and-shoulders above the competition like Jordan was.

I'd agree with you there. He definantly has talent, but he didn't make players look stupid nearly as often as Jordan used to.

Basketball has its share of overhyped players too. Pretty much any rookie who scored 40 a game in high school gets overhyped for the first half of his career.

well maybe the jeter problem is a bit more lopsided in my area due to the high quantity of yankee fans, but seriously people make him out to be better than babe ruth there, yet there is absolutely NO reason jeter should be playing shortstop over A. Rod. I mean granted A. Rod is doing great at 3rd, but seriously jeter makes too many dumb mistakes and errors, he doesnt hit exceptionally or anything. He is a nice solid player, but the amount of admiration he gets is just wrong and unjustified

Speaking as a Red Sox fan, I actually like Jeter more than A-Rod. Jeter is at least a respectable guy who helps teams win while A-Rod is a whiny little faggot. Also, I was always more afraid of Jeter than A-Rod in big spots...last year in the playoffs I feared Matsui (Red. Sox. Killer.), Sheffield (just a monster), Posada (the master of the cheap bloop single), and Jeter (always due for a big hit) more than A-Rod (who, again, is a whiny little faggot)

I disagree, he shoots almost 80% of the time he gets the ball, takes dumb shots, and misses alot. Not a team player.

His defense is okay, but could be alot better since he doesn't really try.

While jeter does have his moments, which i wont lie, if you dont watch the entire yankees season you dont see all the stupid stupid things he does. Under pressure he does deliver, but that doesnt excuse all the mistakes he makes during the rest of the season: swinging at obvious balls that someone in single A would notice, dropping balls, missing easy grounders, throwing to first instead of second for an easy double play when his footing is in a decent spot. While I do not like A-rod as a person at all, by anymeans, as a player he is actually quite amazing, but he seems to be a bit more subtle about it than some more of the big guns.

Still, youre free to like whoever more, im just saying that Jeter is an extremely overrated player.

Hey 12x, i got my new computer. Its awesome, although im not on it currently. It has 3 case fans, a CPU fan and a graphics fan already, and alot more crazy lights than i thought. Runs smoothly too.

Just be careful about the 3 case fans, that many can suck a LOT of dust into your computer, which as we all know is very bad for your hardware. So always keep a can of compressed air handy.

Ok dude, thanks for the advice. The motherboard has plenty of free bays too, so im going on an upgrade mission this Saturday. I need a wireless card for my internet, and some more memory to start.

Make sure you check what speed your memory is currently, because there is no sense in buying anything faster, thats just a waste of money because your RAM will only run as fast as the slowest piece in there.
