This place is going to be like a caffeine-addicted autistic 17 year-old at a Dillinger Escape Plan concert, once we get some good news on the new album.

My 2 cents.
I like the "Dillinger Escape Plan concert" part of your similie, it's very fitting.

*has seen them live and barely escaped intact :(*
Did you read about the chat? I think it was on tuesday (the chat, that is).
nope feel free to inform me plz.
Not sure if the chat had been discussed in here already or not but I just found this on another board:

"Post-Apocalypse:Thursday, October 13, 2005
The chat happened, sort of. I learnt the following:

250 in chat room is a bad idea.

Adam said Pre-production on the artwork for the New CD is happening now.

A tour with Isis is a distinct possibility.

Alex Grey will be involved on the new CD.

Danny says it's not a double ablum, and that the DVD will be out soon, with the implication it will be out before the CD.

Signed Lateralus Vinyl will soon be replacing the flaming wreckage that is my wallet/credit card.

Hi to Nemesis, Guitaryoni, Eclipse and anyone else that said Hi that I've forgotten!

Comments about the chat with TooL members on toolarmy.com. The DVD will be out "soon", which in TooL speak is 2 years presumably. At least it's actually GOING to be released, I was beginning to give up hope."

Just thought I'd post this on here.
Check this out faith.

What's this thread doing so many pages back?

The chat information's interesting, thanks for posting it.

By the way, I made a King Crimson thread. I know a few of the people in here are fans, so I figured I'd mention it.

Darkness 10-15-2005 03:03 PM

Hey Tool guys, go write a review for me and faith+1's song for the death metal competition. :D

Dried Muffin Remnants 10-15-2005 03:41 PM

I miss the quick-reply.

If it was gone for good there would be a lynching. But the new format is still kind of strange.

ThePatient 10-15-2005 06:42 PM

That little part in that chat about "touring with Isis is a distinct possibility" made me poop myself.

BlindWriting 10-15-2005 06:45 PM

The best part is knowing that the so-called "distinct possibility" will actually be a reality, soon enough.

Can't wait.

ThePatient 10-15-2005 06:47 PM

UH-WHA?! *sounds of record screeching*

You should definetly shorten up your location. Most definetly.

--Wow, this new edit thing IS really cool...

Actually I'm just curious to see how long it takes before a mod (most likely Strum) tells me to clean up my act.

ThePatient 10-15-2005 06:58 PM

Give it a day or two, then change it.

And you didn't explain why the "distinct possibility" of Tool touring with Isis will actually be a reality. Or were you just saying you want it to be a reality?

All signs seem to point to yes. Blair sort of said that a mini-tour is going to happen with Isis opening for Tool. It was really one of the few times he wasn't cryptic with an interesting new bit of info. Also, the members of Isis have visited Tool in the studio and been in contact with them.

ThePatient 10-15-2005 07:11 PM

Hmm... small tour. Sounds like I'd have to be doing some traveling to see them, but oh well. Hopefully they'd hit DC, which would be easy enough.

And I'll blame you when my spirit is crushed when this never happens. :p

Actually, I haven't heard a single whole Isis song. I hear they're similar to Neurosis, which I like a little.

Neurosis are better.

Darkness 10-15-2005 07:23 PM

Yeah, I don't care for Isis at all... I'd rather see them go with Meshuggah again, or something.

Rothmans 10-15-2005 07:25 PM

Nah Isis is great they would be both excellent to see together I would prefer Neurosis but being a fanboy I would probably say neurosis blew tool of the stage. :/

ThePatient 10-15-2005 07:28 PM

I've never actually heard Neurosis, any suggestions?

I'd love to see Meshuggah with Tool, but they may bring out the idiots like SOAD fans at a Mars Volta concert. :-/

Darkness 10-15-2005 07:29 PM

Opeth + Tool would still be the ultimate for me.

ThePatient 10-15-2005 07:32 PM

Oh of course, but I have to think that's out of the question. But yeah, that would be incredible.
