adb 01-07-2011 04:28 PM

dad was watching some CBS show last night and there was a commercial for scientology

RouteOne 01-07-2011 04:28 PM

idk I think some people think that bacteria or something on an asteroid was the ting that kick-started life on Earth

but holy shit the Atlantis stuff is lol

Anglachel 01-07-2011 04:43 PM

atlantis is weak

nah they believe we have alien souls that escape from a volcano

also brent i hate to tell you this but you have aspergers

adb 01-07-2011 05:06 PM

wait a minute here!

you're going to diagnose me with a condition based off of my subjective internet posts

oh my god

Angmar 01-07-2011 05:09 PM

Well it's pretty irregular for people to enjoy almost literally nothing.

Maybe that doesn't mean aspergers but it has to say SOMETHING about you.

adb 01-07-2011 05:11 PM

it's all about your perception of me based off my internet posts

I'll bring up the textbook thing and use it as an analogy

there are things that are relevant, and things that are not relevant in life

I cut out the filler (movies, tv) and focus on what the point of those things are (to laugh and feel good) which are mostly on the internet, as it is the best source of everything ever

I think of things objectively steve, thats why I'm going to be in research

Tyler 01-07-2011 05:13 PM

still sounds like aspergers to me

Angmar 01-07-2011 05:15 PM

Cool, here's my version of seeing things objectively.

Do I need it? no. Could I live without it? yes. Do I still enjoy it? yes. So should I cut it out of my life? no.

done

Nepenthe 01-07-2011 05:21 PM
I cut out the filler (movies, tv) and focus on what the point of those things are (to laugh and feel good) which are mostly on the internet, as it is the best source of everything ever
lol

adb 01-07-2011 05:25 PM

alright, I'll take the aspergers bait once again
Engaging in one-sided, long-winded conversations, without noticing if the listener is listening or trying to change the subject
I have a clear understanding of communication and notice if the person wants to change the subject or stop listening any time I start rambling (which I can tend to do if the audience is quiet WHICH TENDS TO HAPPEN BECAUSE ASIAN GIRLS ARE QUIET HUR NUR)
Displaying unusual nonverbal communication, such as lack of eye contact, few facial expressions, or awkward body postures and gestures
I lack eye contact occasionally, I'm not really awkward but not smooth either
Showing an intense obsession with one or two specific, narrow subjects, such as baseball statistics, train schedules, weather or snakes
I have a narrow amount of interests. In a psychological sense, it is referred to as a "narrow categorizer". I hate almost anything media related except music. Even so, I tire of commericalized music more and more
Appearing not to understand, empathize with or be sensitive to others' feelings
I completely understand feelings but am not sensitive to them because they're usually bullshit reasons
Having a hard time "reading" other people or understanding humor
hhahahah

no.
Speaking in a voice that is monotonous, rigid or unusually fast
I mumble sometimes
Moving clumsily, with poor coordination
not really.

IN CONCLUSION: I believe Cocaine is projecting.

Angmar 01-07-2011 05:27 PM

idk dude those all seem like they kinda fit you not gonna lie

in other news I love it when my friends just give me beer, this one in particular looks excellent

A and A+ on beer advocate, this one is getting saved

Nepenthe 01-07-2011 05:28 PM

have you ever thought that maybe the internet is the filler and you could stand to watch a movie or two and you might have something to talk about to people and make a few friends and get laughter and feel goodedness by actually having fun

christsimpson 01-07-2011 05:30 PM

are there any good Star Trek computer games? anyone?

Tyler 01-07-2011 05:31 PM

thanks for proving my point brent

and just a warning steve if you're gonna get into snobby beer, they arent usually the most drinkable things. delicious yeah but probably not something you'll want on a night out or anything.

adb 01-07-2011 05:32 PM
idk dude those all seem like they kinda fit you not gonna lie
how do I lack the understanding of communication or humor in any way
have you ever thought that maybe the internet is the filler and you could stand to watch a movie or two and you might have something to talk about to people and make a few friends and get laughter and feel goodedness by actually having fun
bro, you're thinking like an ass.

think marketing dude, I like to associate myself with people who internet and I can talk to them about it. I don't need to talk about movies because that is a different audience.

Introvert vs. extrovert.

Tyler 01-07-2011 05:32 PM

implying all introverts are the same

lol I'm already into snobby beer, I usually save them for nice dinner or hanging out casually with friends or something, not for going out and getting wasted or anything.

adb 01-07-2011 05:35 PM
implying all introverts are the same
implying marketing doesn't stereotype people

implying introverts don't watch movies by themselves

illmitch 01-07-2011 05:37 PM

la fin du monde is really good, one of my friends had it at a small party i was at and i tried it

wouldnt surprise me in the least if brent had aspergers

Angmar 01-07-2011 05:38 PM
implying marketing doesn't stereotype people

I have my doubts that all marketing majors are internet obsessed introverts, call it a hunch.

adb 01-07-2011 05:39 PM

implying I said marketing majors are obsessed introverts

most are extroverted because it is a social science :o

Tyler 01-07-2011 05:39 PM
are there any good Star Trek computer games? anyone?
Nope.
lol I'm already into snobby beer, I usually save them for nice dinner or hanging out casually with friends or something, not for going out and getting wasted or anything.
yeah word. the only real nice beer i drink these days is Affligem Blond. It's almost 7% which is weird for a pale ale but the shit is primo fabuloso

Angmar 01-07-2011 05:41 PM

I'll have to see if they have it around here, pretty much all the snobby beers I drink are Belgian or Belgian style, but I enjoy some German lagers too.

adb 01-07-2011 05:42 PM

I've kicked steve's ass in every argument ever aside from one about mediterranean food

dude is noobsauce realtalk
