well see dude here's the deal. joey jordison isn't like terrible, he can rip double bass fastish, but here's the thing. joey jordison gets idolized by stupid ppl as some metal god, where as there are TONS of WAY better metal drummers like Derek Roddy, Gene Hoglan, Martin Lopez, Dave Lombardo etc

Tonite was a good nite. I got to see my g/f and ate some good food at some sandwich place. Going tomorrow to my moms house for some good food and what not. Maybe I can get money tomorrow too if i BS enough.

went to a gig last night, guy was using a spaun custom maple kit. sounded like a dream!

thing was tho, in between his dw 9000s, k crashes and a custom ride, he had solar hats, and was using AHEADs

at the end, i was chatting to him, and im not sure what happened, but me, this other drummer i kinda know and the bands drummer had a drumoff

i couldnt play, mainly cos i was drunk and tired, but also cos the kit was set up with the seat low and everything high,. whereas i play seat high and everything low

'the 9000 is a sweet pedal though...

ewww solars and aheads. by the way im countin the days until I order my black panther. 6 more days baby.

Sounds like a sexy kit for the most part. The solars suck, and make no sense as the rest of his kit is really nice. And aheads well.... that is just self explanitory.

The drummer I saw last night (pub gig) had a DW kit with a rack, with wuhan and paiste cymbals. Sounded very awesome, i'll try and find some pics, got the bands website somewhere..

Theyve got a huge song list too.. lot of 60s stuff on there. My favourite last night was the rise and fall of flingel bunt by the shadows, although think the guitarist put a little bit too much effects on his guitar.

Naa, I found that pic on they're website, they where recording there. When I saw them last night he had tons more of cymbals.

Either way the angles in that picture are absolutely absurb. I'll give it the potential of "just got stuff on" and so things weren't set right.

But even still, I doubt that. But hey. If he gets the notes out, he gets the notes out.
