there was a short phase in my life where i was really into rap, i found some good stuff that i can still listen to on occassion, and some stuff that i just hate now.

I just switched from DR Hi-Beams to Lo-Riders. I <3 Lo-Riders. Awesome mellow strings with a great peice of funk and jazz.

dude... i forgot how **** good new strings sound... really nice and bright... really nice... really nice... i need to upgrade more often...

im so used to my dead dull 8 month old strings(or however old they are)...

and this wah pedal is pretty sweet..

These new strings are awesome though, I prefer the warmer sound and that's what these are made for, but they still have that new zing... Awesome combo.

prettay **** good. remember how i was stressing out over the jazz band audition yesterday?
well i tuned up the upright our school has , the neck almost snapped off , so i told my band director (who has no string experience) that is was unusable for jazz band. so he told me and the other bass player to bring our bass guitars and use those until the audition , so today we read through a piece. the other bassist (my guitar player in my band) tells me he cant read bass clef! ha i win once this audition comes around!
