Easy process, the people who did this made forums which they could crack for passwords, and asked mods to register in hopes of them using the same passwords they use on mx. dkpinhead fell victim to this, and they got his password.

Yea, they had 3 mx accounts. morbid_death, next_place and CrookedFingers. Maybe more, who knows.

IP searches and some other circumstantial things, it was a long process of connecting the dots really.

It seems weird that a mod would join another forum advertising on here.

They contacted him through AIM, I suppose it seemed innocent enough at the time...
A week ago they asked me to do it. And I did, but it was some joke account.
