Artemician 10-13-2005 12:12 PM

Now you're being completely serious? I don't have to ask anyone else? This is the complete truth?

YDload 10-13-2005 12:47 PM

Tool is hard rock/prog. They're not really metal, just about as hard as you can get without fully transfering to that realm. Sort of like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, or even Van Halen. Although I think Tool is even more clear-cut because they lack the strong guitar presence that usually defines metal, although the frantic drumming usually makes up for it.

Not sure if the chat had been discussed in here already or not but I just found this on another board:

"Post-Apocalypse:Thursday, October 13, 2005
The chat happened, sort of. I learnt the following:

250 in chat room is a bad idea.

Adam said Pre-production on the artwork for the New CD is happening now.

A tour with Isis is a distinct possibility.

Alex Grey will be involved on the new CD.

Danny says it's not a double ablum, and that the DVD will be out soon, with the implication it will be out before the CD.

Signed Lateralus Vinyl will soon be replacing the flaming wreckage that is my wallet/credit card.

Hi to Nemesis, Guitaryoni, Eclipse and anyone else that said Hi that I've forgotten!

Comments about the chat with TooL members on toolarmy.com. The DVD will be out "soon", which in TooL speak is 2 years presumably. At least it's actually GOING to be released, I was beginning to give up hope."

Just thought I'd post this on here.

Eulogy

Military. I never realized it until now reading it over at work but I think that songs seems to refrence Maynard's time in the armed forced and the Drill Sgts. and instructors. The gung ho military men and women who are willing to lay down their life no matter what the cause

Thanks for posting it. Atleast, it's some type of information.

Woah, that's actually pretty cool. Although, I don't think that is what the song is about, it definitely can apply.

If you were actually Maynard, you think you would even throw out the idea you were him?

YouGottaBeCrazy 10-13-2005 07:33 PM

Aren't we all a little Maynard sometimes?

Thanks man. At least that puts a couple rumors to rest.

Anything else worth posting?

YouGottaBeCrazy 10-13-2005 07:51 PM
 I think Maynard is in everyone, like Jesus or something. Or blood.
Perhaps, Maynard is everywhere. When you breathe, breathe in the air, Maynard is there. He exists as an entity within the Oxygen. When you eat a box of delicious triscuit crackers, Maynard is inside. The cracker is the body, the flesh of Maynard. When you put the furniture in your place in a certain geometric pattern, Maynard is within your will and ambition.

Or you know...he could just be the singer of a cool band.

Daven 10-13-2005 07:53 PM

I think Maynard is inside the trisciut crackers and is the singer of a cool band.

YouGottaBeCrazy 10-13-2005 07:57 PM
I think Maynard is inside the trisciut crackers and is the singer of a cool band.
It's possible to be both? He must really have skill.

Darkness 10-13-2005 08:00 PM

This thread really has gone down hill..

Daven 10-13-2005 08:00 PM

He is obviouslly a skilled person, but how does he manages to get out of our stomachs is what i dont get...

I know.

Kage 10-13-2005 08:14 PM

It's because all the old regs are rarely in here anymore, myself included.

Static 10-13-2005 08:17 PM

Sigh...Life isn't the same without The Joz man. Or Kage.

Darkness 10-13-2005 08:18 PM

What ever happened to The Joz?

YouGottaBeCrazy 10-13-2005 08:20 PM

He's still around. I saw him on the forums last month.
