Annihilation Time - II Municipal Waste - Hazardous Mutation Weakling - Dead as Dreams Loud musics day. \m/ |
That Weakling album is kind of boring.
Listening to Daydream Nation: Deluxe Edition right now. |
It's one of a few (two) black metal albums that I like. Should I check out Alcest?
|
Yes you should.
If you like Dead as Dreams you may enjoy Diadem of 12 Stars by Wolves in the Throne Room. |
The new Alcest isn't black metal, though.
Drowning With Our Anchors - Demo |
True.

Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Wins! (Live Radio Sessions)
Basically live renditions of Yoshimi songs, way more orchestral and slow, almost drone like. Powerful cover of "Can't Get You Out of My Head".This is better than the real album. **** this isn't a good time to listen to this. |
Alec Gross & The Districts.

The For Carnation-Marshmellows
"Salo" makes Sigur Rios sound like a grindcore band in comparison. Fact. |
Oh my broken lamb
I worry when you cry Baby's gonna fetch ya Horses in the sky Though dead hands ring the garden And these are violent times And violence brings more violence And liars bring more lies Though we was born defeated Worried, tired and scared And monsters build mean robots Launching rockets into the air And the wealth of our nations Fed on angel blood And our cities shot with moneyed schemes Built on twigs and mud And our schools look like prisons And our prisons look like malls And downtown's just a sick parade Where no-one cares at all And our hero's all died crazy Broken, poor or shot Let's celebrate their tragedy And sanctify the loss And manifest the daydream Like those who fell before And glorify our small attempts And hate ourselves no more Blow words between these sucker's teeth And bind these panicked hands Lose your heart like a clumsy bell Please be well And all i true love Is the light In my sister's darling eyes |

Argent - All Together Now
Argent were an English rock band founded in 1969 by Rod Argent, formerly of The Zombies. The first three demos from Argent, recorded in the autumn of 1968 featured Mac MacLeod on bass. The other original members were drummer Robert Henrit and bassist Jim Rodford (later members of The Kinks) and guitarist/keyboardist Russ Ballard, who contributed to several compositions through the group's career (some of Ballard's compositions became hits when they were covered by other artists, including Rainbow and Santana). When Russ Ballard left in 1973, he was replaced by guitarist/vocalist John Verity and guitarist John Grimaldi and there followed a period of intense recording and touring until the band decided to come off the road late in 1976. Argent's biggest hit was "Hold Your Head Up." They also recorded the original version of "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You," which was covered by KISS in 1992. It also became a Contemporary Christian Rock anthem and was twice covered by Petra in 1977 and again in 1984, albeit with new verses. The sound of the band was a mix of rock and pop but also covered more progressive rock territory in songs like "The Coming of Kohoutek," an instrumental from their Nexus album. When Russ Ballard left the band after Encore, they took an even more progressive/fusion turn and signed to a new label (RCA) for the two final albums. By 2005, all albums, including compilations, have been re-released on CD, except Counterpoints. Saskrotch - Bit Motivation 101 Any other fans of the 8-Bit electronica stuff? |

Jeremy Enigk - Return of the Frog Queen This is the first time I've listened to his solo stuff, it's quite interesting. It's no SDRE, but I adore his voice and the music's not too bad. |
