I'm glad they strayed away from a industrial/sample heavy album this time. Its a nice change up. Plus these songs will be great live. [I]Odessa[/I] is my favorite track so far, even though there are others that are very close as well.


There are parts of [I]The Accidents of gesture[/I] that are a bit shoe-gaze-y as well.

Yeah, it's a complete different Rome. It's not even Industrial anymore, and I love this progression. The end of The Secret Sons of Europe is EPIC. My favorite song is A Legacy Unrest so far.

I agree with the shoegaze-y parts. Another amazing thing about this album are the samples, there are some I recognize like Franco's samples, I love the fact that most of the samples are in spanish :p

Overall, great album, probably my favorite of the year so far!

Yeah, the concept behind the songs is the Spanish civil war that took place in the late 1930's.

Yeah, I noticed because of all the Francisco Franco samples.
