Hey, i want to buy a CoB cd but im not sure which one and im kinda new to the band. Can someone recommend?

MRDuCran 07-19-2006 09:18 PM

Follow the Reaper or Hatebreeder for sure!

Prince Charming 07-19-2006 09:19 PM

Follow The Reaper. Go from there. If you want heavier, you'll want to try Hate Crew Deathroll. If you want more melodic, you'll want Hatebreeder and Something Wild.

MRDuCran 07-19-2006 09:28 PM

Dylan?

Prince Charming 07-19-2006 10:13 PM
Dylan?
yeah

read my post in the problem thread if you wanna know why Charming/TEST are perm

MRDuCran 07-19-2006 10:56 PM

lol

"TEST was banned because he posted a meatspin link masked as a photobucket link."

Quality.

You must feel proud, you have like 3 pages of discussion over you in that thread.

lol lol sure why not

It was a flash file that hijacked your browser, to be exact

repcak 07-20-2006 03:33 AM

yeah, and i clicked at this ****ing link! i had to restart my pc....

so your two accounts are perm banned?! wow.... thats hard.

@Mitch: and you do the same with sweeping?! cause i did it a little bit different: i played f.e. the high e string the 12th fret and then the 13fret on the B string, but i muted the high e string simultaneous with picking the b string.
so i played the e string, and while i was picking the b string i muted the e string, so i had to do two motions at the same time.
but with your technique i would play the high e string, mute it and after muting play the b string...

well thats the observation playing really slow... when you do it fast nobody will notice the difference.

Sorry. The one in the community thread?

Well. I posted the masked flash file under I'm Charming. So that's an obviously perm. If posting hijacking flash files doesn't get a perm, what does?
TEST was perm for argueing with Burt after the fact and I said go ahead and ban it. ha.

Now I'm back to my good posting like when I first joined.

I should like sit in this thread for an hour! That way I gather motivation for sweeping.

btw. For future times, if you can't exit your browser ALT CTRL DEL go to processes,.

mozilla.exe
firefox.exe
iexplorer.exe
if you used opera, it'd prolly be opera.exe

end the process. your browser will close and you don't have to restart.

repcak 07-20-2006 03:52 AM

well i know that i could use ALT CTRL DEL, but my parents pc is extrem slow... its sooo slow you can't imagine... it takes about 5minutes to start windows and anothr 1-2minutes to start mozilla. it slows down extrem when i start icq!
the reason is: win xp with 128DDR ... that was a bad choice.

Prince Charming 07-20-2006 03:56 AM

Just feel good it wasn't a while back.

Months ago. I wrote a malware script (flash files and embed scripts) that crashed my bros 64 bit dual core 1gb of RAM etc etc computer. lol. That was wicked brutal malware. It was on myspace and I hit terrible (mainstream talentless) bands profiles mostly.
I'd embed the html script in the comment, so anyone connecting to that profile would be hijacked onto a site with two pages that looped back and forth to no end. Each opening 5 new browsers of shock images and hijacking the current one, plus page 1 opened page 2 or vice versa.

oh yeah. All the pages had like 20 billion wallpaper pix , making it load/slow/aid the crashing lol.

It took about ten minutes to write and make btw AND changed myspace security policy. Now "embed objects must be approved by the profile holder"

megalawl on changing myspace security.

repcak 07-20-2006 04:01 AM

wow... not bad, not bad... lol

the picture i clicked on yesterday: did it any damage on my computer or was the aim of the program only to shut down my browser?

Prince Charming 07-20-2006 04:07 AM
wow... not bad, not bad... lol

No. You're computer isn't damged in any way. No spyware, malware, adware, viruses were gotten.

As seen in example
onFrame (1) {
getURL("http://www.site1.com","_blank");
getURL("http://www.site2whichdidntletyouexit.com","_self");
}
GETURL is self explanatory.

_blank means open in new browser window

_self open designated link in current browser window

meatspin was "site1" it opened in another browser
GNAA the link that wouldn't let you exit was site2 in example. You see it opens in current browser.

When I upload it on photoshop it'll have it's .swf shockwave flash file extension obviously.

so just hyping linking, the link except url=real]real except .jpg instead of swf

yeah

edit: edit. The intent was just a momentary shock from what you're seeing, unless you like that. lol

Yeah the sweeping motion is the same. I was trying to explain what it takes to actually mute the string after you've played it and not get any noise.

When you're learning something, I'd deefinately say go for the second choice at first, and play a note, mute, play the next, mute, play the next etc because then you know you're playing every single note and learning it.

Then when you've learnt it and are ready to start going over it with a metronome, you'll find you need to mute and play another string at the same time but if you've learnt the given exercise enough, you'll only really need to focus on the muting technique.

Yeah, it is.

/had problems with Opera last week :(

AA-12 07-20-2006 06:49 AM

Use Firefox then. It's the greatest.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-20-2006 06:52 AM

I fixed the problem easily and I like Opera more.

I use Mozilla and Firefox for a few things. I prefer mozilla though. I should try Opera sometime, perhaps?

Anyone digging Northern Comfort & Everytime I Die right now?

No.

IMO, Mozilla has a better feel to it. :p

Not atm. Children of Decadence for me, his vocals on that track are awesome.

I recorded the intro to ETID.

Might do the first first 4 bars of the Kissing the Shadows solos too.

I've heard your cut of ETID before. It was quite good like everything you record.

haha good luck. /won't touch KTS

repcak 07-20-2006 01:57 PM

thanks mitch for the tips.

right now i'm digging Silent Night, Bodom Night. but i can't pracitise the song right now, cause i don't have a metronome (and i even don't have boxes at this computer), my cable to my amp broke down and the only music-shop is closed until 30th july... :upset:

Prince Charming 07-20-2006 02:05 PM

You only practice with a metranome??

That seems really "cut throat" and would take the fun from it.

I don't see the difference...

repcak 07-20-2006 02:13 PM

no not only... but without metronome its much difficult to practise those triplets (or how this should be named: 3notes each beat).
the same goes with symphony x-unleash the fire... without metronome i just don't get the time i should be play in

http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/

No, Mozilla is open source. Therefor, obviously free.

Good-
Feels better
Looks better
I can customize the way I like easier

Bad-
Less extensions and themes
(so I have firefox as well, for dl youtube and stuff)

The default look is this horrid netscape'ish theme.

When you've installed,

View > Apply Theme > Modern > Close browser > Open browser
