ICB, send me a link where I can order the EP! Anything to support a fellow MXers project :thumb:
Uh, you'd have to order it through the band members...:p

http://www.myspace.com/withoutatracerocks

just e-mail us from there. It's only 5 bucks for 7 crappy sngs. :p
Hey anyone heard about that CD Kerrang made to "honour" the 25th birthday of Master of Puppets?
It goes-
Machine Head - Battery
Trivium - Master of Puppets
Mendeed - The Thing That Should Not Be
Bullet for my Valentine - Sanitarium
Chimaira - Disposable Heroes
Fightstar - Leper Messiah
Mastodon - Orion
Funeral For A Friend - Damage Inc.

Now I know most of you won't be bothered, but this looks crap. Fightstar ffs. He used to be in BUSTED!.
Yeah I heard about that. The only bands that make sense for that are Machine Head, Chimaira and Trivium. FFAF doing "Damage, Inc"? The blasphemy!

Sounds fucking power metal. \m/

EDIT: I'll place an order sometime today

yea, i used to threaten underclassmen with it, when they would 'act a fool' and would need to be put in check.

Exactly. That's my favourite Metallica song. They best not piss all over it.
So I actually made it to the store today (finally) to pick up cannibal Corpse's new one......not bad, but not that different.....they really don't like to evolve musically........
I liked the catchiness of The wrectched Spawn and to some extent Gore obsessed. The way it was going in that direction, see Nothing left to mutilate off TWS for what I mean.
So I like that part of Kill alot.
I like the whole thing alot though.
I just got Vile through the post...it's got a couple of bonus live tracks on it, too. Hammer smashed face and staring through the eyes of the dead(second favourite CC song!) so it's nice to have a non Live cannibalism version of those. Barnes singing on them, but not the album...

kerrang are gay, all those bands except for machine head...well, they aren't the best, lets just say that.

Well, thinking about it, it's something you'd expect from Kerrang. Although I had a better list in my head.

Oh God. We'd better add to the list. I doubt they can even play that fast.

Schweet...I found my old GBA and am playing Rayman 3.

See you in a few weeks. :p

I agree. except FF.

GBA, that is.

ArcLite 03-22-2006 11:29 AM

I was playing a Super Mario 3 emulator the other day. What a killer game, especially for its time. The desert world is sweet.

Lord Abortion 03-22-2006 11:30 AM

I gave up...Rayman got harder than I remember:(

Mr. Black 03-22-2006 11:31 AM

That's why you lost the GB init?

I had the first game on Playstation. That was very difficult.

Lord Abortion 03-22-2006 11:32 AM

I never played it much in the first place..I had Doom for it, and played that a canny bit, but I completed it and got bored of the whole thing.
I had the first game on Playstation. That was very difficult.
Yeah, me too...I really liked it, though.

Mr. Black 03-22-2006 11:34 AM

Man, I've not played my Xbox in Months.

I like Mastodon :(

I also predict that Trivium are going to do the instruments of MOP well, but Heafy's going to be all like ROW-BAYYY YAR MAST-WARRRRRRR, MAST-WARRRRRRRR.

How unfortunate, really.
thats a very high quality road runner cartoon avatar you got there Jom :thumb:
Ha, thanks. Definitely my favorite Looney Toons character, for sure.

My favorite Playstation game was easily the first Crash Bandicoot.

True, Heafy's vocals will make MOP sound ghey.
I think Dream Theater's cover of Orion completely blows away Mastodon's version.

I loved 1,2 and 3. I loved Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash too. Too bad they sold the game rights and now they suck.
My favourite game on Ps1 ever was Command and Conquer Red Alert. I played that all day (from 9-12)

Not bad at all, my friend, I'm just close to wrapping up a vacation from school. I've been recording and practicing a lot, and watching a lot of movies and eating a lot of food and not doing any work. It's been a good vacation. :)

How about yourself? Still recording cool power metal stuff or have your tastes changed since I last talked to you about it?

Food? Movies? No work? Sounds like a good time in my book. Tastes haven't changed really. I've been listening to more power metal than ever and my PM song that was in progress last I talked to you is still in progress, but it's coming along well.

Yeah, despite it looking like a simple platformer it was actually quite complex with all the secret levels.

Cain 03-22-2006 11:47 AM

I liked Crash 1 better though because it was actually difficult to get from one place to the other. I find that when characters are given new abilities and weapons and such in sequel games, it doesn't exactly make them harder, because then the levels are designed for everything to be obviously possible to complete based on the new skills, where before it was like "God dammit I fell into the Pit of Death after the two-hundred-and-fifty-second time trying to jump over it to get all the boxes!"

The gem system was incredibly complicated in the first Crash, and the secret levels were badarse.

It's so long ago I can hardly remember it. The levels where you had to move forwards constantly (like the bridge one) were a challenge, I grew to hate them after dying 13 times and respawning with an Aku-Aku(uka uka?) mask. How's that gonna help me whilst falling?
