the thing is, im supposed to get married next may in vegas. Im not sure if its the best idea myself, and im not sure if it would last as well. its definitely a huge step that shouldnt be taken lightly

In my opinion, Vegas is the worst way to start a marriage. It's like saying "I'm not taking our relationship seriously".

my problem right now is that it seems lopsided in my favor. Sure, you could say im a bit biased, but if i were to itemize everything, i think you'd agree.

Thats all fine and dandy, but i try not to use it against her.

the decision had absolutely nothing to do with me. She was the one all about that. I just explained that the only way id agree to the trip is if i didnt have to pay, and her rich g-mom foot the bill.

apparently her rich g-mom wants to buy $600.00 tickets to go to the CMT awards while we are there. I told my girl theres absolutely no way in hell id be going, and i could justify her spending that exorbant amount of money if i wouldnt enjoy it in the least.

i know some girls in my age (and younger) who have a child now, but are not married. my cousin married with 23yrs and has now a child (1yrs old).

i for myself (i'm 20) can't imagine to get married "soon". ask me once more when i'm 24 or 25, then maybe i will think about marriage, but right now i just want to live my life without bondage.

Marriage... My brother's good friend went to America for several years in 2001, came back to Australia in 2005, married to a Slovakian woman. That's being sure of yourself!

yesterday i discovered the reason why my sweeps sounds so awful. i always practised them without distortion and with distorion i mute the strings when i sweep down with my thumb, but when i sweep up i dont mute them... now i have to learn how to mute the strings, sweeping up with my pinky from the picking hand ...

Try a string dampener :thumb:

No to both of you. The best way to do that is to just barely let off the fret with the fretting hands finger, and mute it that way.
