Not trying to start crap, but why is it so wrong if ppl double post? Maybe they had something to say and just wanted to say it. Again not trying to start problems or flaming, but I have a problem with questioning everything.

Scuba_Steve 09-10-2005 04:55 PM

I consider myself a passive metallica fan, I like them but i don't worship them or anything (except cliff burton cause he was the man)

But why is Kill Em All rarely Discussed? I personally like it more then MoP and RtL, probably because it was mroe thrash/hardcore punk based then the other two and there was less of the "metallica style" acousitc intros into heavy songs then reverting back to acoustic/clean.

anyone else think KeA is the best Metallica album?

DaveTheAmazing 09-10-2005 05:03 PM

lo metallicas

how u guys doin

Jred250 09-10-2005 05:08 PM

I have never considered 'Kill em all' to be Metallica's best album but I must add I love it to bits. My personal favourite album is Ride the lightning followed by And Justice for all... In fact I will place them in order of favouritism...

1. Ride The Lightning
2. And Justice For All
3. Master Of Puppets
4. Garage Inc.
5. The Black Album
6. S&M
7. Load
8. Reload
9. Kill Em all
10. St Anger

rip-metal_rules 09-10-2005 05:09 PM

hey is anyone else doing math homework right now?

Homework is for chumps. Play your instrument or listen to Metallica instead.

MRDuCran 09-10-2005 07:47 PM

Yer, i just downloaded the Cliff 'Em All version of Puppets.

RustedPieces 09-10-2005 07:49 PM

I have the entire Cliff 'Em All DVD downloaded, thanks to someone on this thread that uploaded it awhile back. :thumb:

MRDuCran 09-10-2005 07:54 PM

Is it all just a collection of fan videos?

RustedPieces 09-10-2005 07:57 PM

Yeah most of it is bootlegged videos but some of it is actual professional footage but the quality still isn't too great.

MRDuCran 09-10-2005 07:59 PM

Yeah i noticed, you can hear the people singing along, it's rather annoying.

mr black 09-10-2005 09:54 PM

angusmaster 09-10-2005 10:04 PM

The Four Horsemen
Fade to Black
Welcome Home Sanitarium
Blackened
Struggle Within
Devil's Dance
Unforgiven II
Breadfan
Sweet Amber

I think I've done this question about 30 times...

I saw Elton John tonight. Now I know you're all going to say "Ew he's so queer" except I have to admit he is the greatest piano player on the face of the earth, and his guitarist was pretty awesome

$100 each, stubhub.com. I'm thinking about getting Stones tickets from there, but they would be extremely expensive. 'Tallica/Stones tix were going for $100 each.

I'll do that thing in the morning, it's nearly 2 AM here

Apocalyptic Raids 09-10-2005 11:52 PM

Just put the first three albums in a box with some of Live Shit.

j/k

Elton John is awesome. He's a rocketman, buring out his fuse out there.

metalhead_matt 09-11-2005 02:18 AM

you know S & M? I have the DVD, so I cant upload the songs onto my comp can I, I have to buy the actual CD? is that right?

Apocalyptic Raids 09-11-2005 02:26 AM

Or you could just download the mp3s.

exup 09-11-2005 03:01 AM

i hate s&m
but i got it, got about everything on mp3 from metallica

Huber 09-11-2005 03:04 AM

What I've heard from S&M has been awesome.

exup 09-11-2005 03:18 AM

the big band stuff is ruïn all the good music

Slapping Penguin 09-11-2005 04:12 AM

Disagree. The Ochestra really adds excitment and intensity. Unfortuanely though it loses the plot of does a little too odd and out there and it sounds bad.

Avellin 09-11-2005 07:16 AM
Master of Puppets. Jason joined them on the Garage Days-Revisited album.
fix'd

Chu 09-11-2005 07:30 AM
Disc Four(Live):
Anesthesia
I have this really cool version of Anesthesia where Burton keeps going straight into For Whom The Bell Tolls (As far as I can remember, no one else in this thread has talked about it? If anyone else wants it, I'll upload it tonight for you).
I think that should be included, he keeps distortion on, and does a little solo at the end (Where Kirk would do his improvised solo(?), although Kirk still does a solo too).

Cliff Burton was a God :p

exup 09-11-2005 07:42 AM

i saw it, somewhere

Skit 09-11-2005 08:57 AM
fix'd
If your being serious.. Your wrong.
If your not being serious (IE lack of bass on the album) it surely would of been better to say he joined on the album after - The Black album

clairvoyant 09-11-2005 08:58 AM

No Leaf Clover from S&M is amazing. When I first heard about St. Anger I thought it was gonna be like No Leaf Clover and stuff so I was ready for one SWEET album! But then I heard the song St. Anger on the radio...

It all went downhill from there :(
