Dammit, my left hand index finger is hurting like hell!! my girlfriend and I went out for some drinks last night, and afterwards she decided to close the car's door with my hand in the middle!!

How about that? First she almost amputates my finger, and then she made me drive "under the influence". It didn't seem like much yesterday, probably due to the alcohol, but today it hurts even typing.

okay wow . im really lost. could some one please explian hammer ons and pull offs to me. a hammer on is when you pluck a string for example the 12th fret on the g string and then sort of pree down on another fret right? example pluck 12th fret press down on 13th fret. what exactly is a pull off? i dont get how to do it :upset:

It's the same thing in reverse. By your example, you'd fret the thirteenth AND the twelth, on the same string, then pull away the finger fretting the thirteenth.
