My Dad downloaded the new Rolling Stones album from Napster earlier for £6.95.

Its not too bad.

moaner 09-11-2005 09:21 AM

my thoughts on that kinda thing brum:

If i'd written the album, and i showed it to a record label, would they honestly take any notice of me whatsoever?

IAJP 09-11-2005 09:49 AM

79p Per Track..?

Brew 09-11-2005 09:50 AM
How much do Napster charge for downloads?
We have Napster Light:

79p per track
Average album is £7.95

Basicly we pay for whatever we download from them, and its ours forever. None of this ''pay £9.95 a month, download anything then as soon as you cancel your monthly subscription you can no longer use those tracks or burn them to cd etc...'' crap.

moaner - I doubt it

IAJP 09-11-2005 10:31 AM

Brew 09-11-2005 11:20 AM

They're all 79p per track, except the HMV one which has some songs at 89p per track.

GurS 09-11-2005 04:46 PM

Well, today's been post-heavy, then.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather today :(

That was a few years ago, no-one seems too fussed about it now.

Yeah, I never really cared about it anyway.

Just you watch, Freddie Flintoff is about to become Johnny Wilkinson.

In the way that after winning a prestigious trophy, he will be a superstar and will then fade away.

I tell you what though, Rachel Flintoff is ****ing lovely.

GurS 09-13-2005 08:50 AM

rugby>cricket

duffroxmysox 09-13-2005 09:06 AM

Although Football has rapidly gone down my sport order these days if that makes anyone feel happier

IAJP 09-13-2005 11:22 AM

I got today:

Nirvana - Bleach, (With a kind little sticker on the front proclaiming "This Is Nirvana's First Album!")
Faith No More - The Real Thing.

And:

Hitman 2: The Silent Assasin: £2.99.
Freedom Fighters: 50p.

(yeah, all that for £15)

Brew 09-13-2005 11:49 AM

I'm going to see Dragonforce tomorrow night :)

I don't actually have a ticket though, or a train ticket to get home, or a way of being picked up from the centre of Bristol at around midnight yet :(

Also, 50 Cent is playing in Cardiff tomorrow so I might get mugged by some Wigga's.

the_uber_penguin 09-13-2005 01:38 PM

IAJP 09-13-2005 01:51 PM

Go to the party, get picked up in Bristol at about 5am instead.

Thats what I'm doing for the oxford gig, I'm going to go to the aftershow and then either find somewhere to crash till the first train or sleep in the station.

I hate your year, there's no room. The year above us last year moved around more, whereas your year tend to stay mostly in the same areas that we do :(

AND you make huge queues in the mezz, which is the worst thing. Coz you nicked all the Coke :upset:
