If you have a true appreciation for the beauty of athletics you wouldnt think that. These people are so good at what they do thats its amazing to watch them. Also the amount of strategy it takes to win a single game, and how much emotion and mental toughness it takes.

Its also fun to sit around with the buddies, drink some beer, and watch the game.

My first day back to school was good. I got reacquainted with all of my old friends, and so and so.

After school, I went to my friend Shawn's house to play him in Madden '06. It was BY FAR the best game of Madden I've ever played.

The game was a struggle on both sides of the ball; our offensives would be good for one drive and then suck for the next few, and our defenses were the same.

The game didn't heat up until late in the 4th quarter. The score was 36-31, and I had the lead. Shawn had the ball though, and was threatening with a running game. At 0:34 left in the game, I committed a holding penalty that put him at my 2 yard line. He thought that a simple draw play would seal the win for him, so he kneeled the ball 3 times and ran in for the score on 4th down.

Now. The kickoff after his score.

There was 0:06 left in the game, and Shawn was all happy because he thought he'd sealed the win. He kicks the ball off, and I return it to about my own 26 yardline.

0:02 left.

I chose, of course, my deepest pass route. The ball was hiked, and the QB dropped back. My intended receiver was double covered, but he was maybe a good 3 steps ahead of the safety that was on him. I let the ball fly, and it seemed like I was going to overthrow him. But my receiver lept into the air, grabbed the ball, and sprinted the remaining 40 yards to the endzone.

Final score: 43-38, I win. :D

Yeah, these rosters are PACKED. There're some new linebackers on the Pats squad that got subbed in during that game I played (yeah, I was the Pats). There were some other new faces too.

Replay the Super Bowl loads of times, except make the margin of victory like 60 or so points. Pats on top of course. :D

I just got back from another day of boating. :-D So there I was, wakeboarding my as[B][I][/I][/B]s off, and I hit the wake, and nearly cleared it, but instead of landing smoothly on a downslope, I cased it straight on the end of the wake, meaning the landing was very rough. My right foot came out of the binding, and it feel into the water, and my board slapped back up, and now I have a deep one inch cut just below my knee. It ruled. :-D
