I get writer's block all the time, nothing feels worse, IMO.

Now that I've gotten guitar pro 4, I have been writing out the ***, and I can write all instruments, though the songs are only the basis for the final copy.

I can do that but I really know I can write better, I can write an okay poem in like 2 mintues but it wouldn't exceed my ability. It's a little draining writing a poem but if it comes out good, it's all worth it.

I write the guitars for songs using powertab. I'm ok I guess. I'm proud of myself usualy of my own stuff...:p

I dont base my songs on scales and al that theory though...I dont know any :( so I just go by ear, or play around with a few chords and use those notes who go well with those chords and stuff.

Poem's I find are okay to write.
I mean musically, coming up with a riff and just jamming out a song in a matter of minutes.

I'm terrible at that.

I don't despise theory though. I realy want to learn some. I just havnt gotten around to realy concentrating on that yet.

I'm good at that, for my band's new song, I just came up with a concept behind it and lyrics as we were playing, then went home and refined them to make them better, but the basis was there at the time.

People that don't like theory are missing out and usually are lazy.

It is so helpful, even just basic theory.
I love writing for multiple instruments....

Sometimes I feel like doing a concept album. Some could say its farfetched but meh, I just get the urge sometimes.

I suck badly with lyrics though.

Im am very very basic in my theory knowledge. I like doing harmony.

Although I've never taken a class, I'm considering taking the AP test for music theory. I've got nothing to lose and I think I'm well aversed in theory while no expert.

I'd take it, I need to learn more though, I am still kind of a newb with theory.
