hey guys im gettin some things together to talk about on this music talk show on Sunday, so i figured i'd consult thee for some happenings and releases and what not. news, tours, reunions, new and upcoming releases, anything music-related that can be discussed is fair game.

definitely going to talk about the Contortionists reunion, Phil Elverum tour & new releases, maybe the Chinese Democracy leak, and thats about all ive got planned myself so far ... any ideas?

i just saw a video of Om with their new drummer. its actually surprisingly good, he's got a different style definitely, but not that bad; hes more all over the place and lends a more energetic feel to the songs, rather than the heavy sludgy feeling of Chris Haiku's style.

kind of upset i didn't get to see Om before they changed drummers....

but yea i am at the station show is on as of like 10 mins but it has been Can - Halleluhwah the whole time so i'm just hanging out.

while the 14min {{{Sunset}}} song was playing i executed the courageous advanced technique... the run-to-Jimmy-Johns-and-get-a-sandwich hahah .. but they didnt put everything i wanted on it :angry: so im going back to like hopefully ge ta free sandwich wish me luck

i think Fly On The Wall is pretty good, probably my favorite song on Down. i think my favorite part of the show was from Acid Mothers Temple & Melting Paraiso UFO -- Boris & Michio Kurihara. I hadn't heard that Acid Mothers Temple album, and at first was worried it would be all horns for 16 mins, but at like 3 or 4 mins it started to just rock and was actually really good, unlike anything ive heard from AMT (even though i dont listen to them a lot... i guess maybe im missin out). and Bright Blue Dream is an amaaazing song, even though i didnt really get to listen to it because i was busy sprinting to get my incorrectly arranged sandwich :/

man i was up until 6AM doing homework .... and my alarm didnt go off or i slept through it, so i woke up 12 mins before class started, and got here like right in time. as soon as i get out of class today i am re-crashing immediately and beginning the weekend epically, somehow.
