I recently got something in the mail asking for me to come to a tryout to make a placing in the Macy's Day Parade, sense I made All-State in my state. I turned the offer down though because posting on MX is far more important.

I went into highschool music class only playing guitar. and they told me i wouldnt be able to play guitar in band, so i had to pick a new instrument so im like TRUMPET! ska band! woo. downside, i only knew guitar theory at that point, not that great at reading music but it all worked out in the end. this year im taking a guitar class instead of normal music though.

Actually I turned it down just because I would be really busy in November to march in a stupid parade anyway. Tryouts would be during the time I'd be in school, it'd be too much of a hastle for something I wouldn't want to do anyway.

VLC music player! That plays any file format and you won't need codecs or crap like that. It's great.
