i LOVE the side scrolling metroid games, and to my dismay, the 1st person games are great as well

Very much so...they're like a wierd mix of hardcore, doom and prog.

the vocalist is very good, on his clean parts more than his harsh ones, which I call "Akerfeldt syndrome" and the atmosphere they have is nice and bleak.

Well the whole Dada, thing, I hadn't heard of that movement, mind you I know very little of art, but you just seem very knowledgeable(sp).
