panda bear - panda bear
this is pretty bad
um no. and its way better than young prayer |
oh come on
|
that's rather silly yeah
|
young prayer sucks pretty much
|
its about as good as the sputnikmusic top 100 albums of the decade list
|
panda bear (as in, self-titled) has snippets of things where i will be like 'ok, this is cool' but those last for 30 seconds before i pop back out
i mean it is what it is, a (will-be?) talented dude when he was really young making some crappy music in his bedroom or wherever. also his voice is supremely annoying on it whereas it's great (especially in the 'conveying emotion' department) on young prayer. also, young prayer feels fluid and sometimes gorgeous whereas panda bear just feels jarring (there are points where young prayer is "jarring" (e.g. all those times he strums the guitar really fast)) but those touch all the right emotional spots--at least for me. i just feel way more of a connection i guess. THIS IS HOW YOU WILL KNOWWWWWWWWWW MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE |
cb we chill bro step down
|
ur diggin cosmogramma so we kwl

dan deacon- bromst six organs of admittance- luminous night |
I've been sitting on it for months,
it draws from the same pools as most punk subgenres at the point of its release, making it solid and subtle and unpredictable in certain cases. Pale Saints - The Comforts Of Madness (easily recommendable dream pop/shoegaze punk) Swirlies - Blonder Tongue Audio Baton (another one of those) here have a listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YSzW8hwHfs one song that has infected me |
yeah it was actually the same for me, i dled it a while back and like couldnt find anything on the band so kind of forgot about it, but its sweet
