Polyamarous 10-04-2006 12:55 PM

It was my brothers birthday yesterday and I bought him the pink panther on DVD.

Haha, your present owns mine :upset:

lemoley 10-04-2006 12:59 PM

are you joking i would so prefer that to a keyboard

Steve Martin is a legend

Phalanx 10-04-2006 01:01 PM

i feel kinda bad now, all i got my dad was a book he probably will never read. Don't really know him though, just know that he sometimes reads books :amaze:

lemoley 10-04-2006 01:02 PM

yeah man i hear ya, until this year all i got my dad was books on golf

at least he's good at golf now

Mr. Pickle 10-04-2006 01:05 PM
How can you say that seriously?

Is it because the Green Album got you into them?

To me, Pinkerton is their best, Blue Album is a close second, then the others are all around the same spot, though I absolutely despise some of the songs off that latest album. That Beverly Hills song has got to be one of the most dreadful pieces of crap they've ever recorded.
honestly, pinkerton is probably my least favorite. blue album got me into them, but like i said, i love every album.

/likes beverly hill's, hates the media

Phalanx 10-04-2006 01:05 PM

damn, that's what I should do, my dad plays golf as well.

But then again, all dads do

lemoley 10-04-2006 01:09 PM

yeah i've noticed that too...

probably because it gives them an outlet for all there anger - suppose hitting a balls better than a women

Phalanx 10-04-2006 01:12 PM

lol, i like that

Polyamarous 10-04-2006 01:14 PM

I really loved Make Believe, don't own Pinkerton, and I much prefer the Green album to the Blue, they're both ace though.

lemoley 10-04-2006 01:15 PM

arrrgh why cant i write poetry

thats one thing i would really like to be better at

Mr. Pickle 10-04-2006 01:16 PM

yeah, i have all of the cd's and have listened to the equally, so i'm not trying to be different or something, i just really love the rock vibe of the green album.

Polyamarous 10-04-2006 01:18 PM

So my boss phoned me while I was at school earlier and told my mom that he needed to talk to me. I phoned him back, but he's in a meeting. :\ I'm apprehensive about this. I haven't done anything wrong at work and I'm a good employee, so I hope I'm not getting fired.

If he fires you then jack off on his desk.

One Groovin Clown 10-04-2006 02:05 PM

I hate it when bosses want to have a "word". Normally It's over something trivial such as making food without ordering it. I almost got fired once for starting a food fight in my kitchen. It was a slow night so i started to throw cheese and lettuce at my buddy. My GM comes up to me the next day and says if I whip anyone else with a towel I'd get fired. :smash:
If he fires you then jack off on his desk.

Yeah... he's a great guy, so I dunno what he wants with me. If he was going to fire me, he'd have the decency to tell me in person.

Unless he was afraid that you'd jack off on his desk.

BenJammin 10-04-2006 02:15 PM

So true.

New league entry. Listen!

BenJammin 10-04-2006 02:36 PM

Been there, done that. :p

(See Matchday thread)

Spaceman Spiff 10-04-2006 03:05 PM

I've been noticing my facial hair starting to come in quicker as of late... I hate shaving.

BenJammin 10-04-2006 03:07 PM

So I finally got a hold my boss.

He wanted to know if I wanted to switch departments.

Where do you work? What department are you in? What would you switch to?

BenJammin 10-04-2006 03:18 PM
Where do you work? What department are you in? What would you switch to?
I work at a grocery/department store. ( http://www.frederictoncoop.nb.ca )

I've been through a bunch of departments.

I started as a grocery cashier, ringing is peoples carts full of stuff.

Then I switched to the garden center in the summer and did manual labour and plant care.

Then I switched to (my current department) selling furniture and appliances.

Now I'm switching (in a couple of weeks) to the 'home and leisure' department, which is all the miscellaenous things, like lights, decorative items, chairs, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, etc.

Spaceman Spiff 10-04-2006 03:25 PM

I see. Sounds like a blast... :p

BenJammin 10-04-2006 03:27 PM

Eh, a job is a job. The people there are awesome, however, which makes it more enjoyable.

It beats flipping burgers and making fries, any day of the year.

PaulSimonon 10-04-2006 03:28 PM

Hey guys.

Tryxx 10-04-2006 03:29 PM

Hi Andrew.

BenJammin 10-04-2006 03:30 PM

Hey Andrew.

What's shaking?

PaulSimonon 10-04-2006 03:31 PM

Haha, haven't talked to you in ages Justin, how's life?

PaulSimonon 10-04-2006 03:31 PM
Hey Andrew.

What's shaking?
Not a thing. Just chillin in my house.

Tryxx 10-04-2006 03:32 PM
Haha, haven't talked to you in ages Justin, how's life?
Seems busy. Life kind of seems to pass by really quick. How about you?

(Oh, and go tell me if you like my single cut idea.)

PaulSimonon 10-04-2006 03:33 PM

I voted, and I dug it. Similar to my own designs, except I've got a little volute thing on the bottom.

My life seems to drag on and on, but meh, what can you do?

Spaceman Spiff 10-04-2006 03:34 PM

I just don't understand the appeal of single cuts.

BenJammin 10-04-2006 03:34 PM
Not a thing. Just chillin in my house.
Sounds pretty exciting.
I just don't understand the appeal of single cuts.
I don't understand the appeal of you.

PaulSimonon 10-04-2006 03:36 PM

Oh, it is, believe me. I'd be out and about doing my normal evening activities, but I had to clean my room and missed out. How 4th grade is that?

And I'm about to kill someone for a cigarette... goddamn.
