I love my cube.
So righteous.
I think I'll play 1080 avalanche later.
I pwn so hard at that game.

The only game I have that I haven't beaten is Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door.
I'm behind the door, I beat the emperor, but then I can't beat Bowser.

SirSpamalot 06-24-2006 01:01 PM

randyrhoads2791 06-24-2006 01:02 PM

lol nah

I'll put a video of me tearing it up on my Parker though. It's like 40 megs, where would be the best place to upload it?

SirSpamalot 06-24-2006 01:02 PM

I beat the first paper mario back when I played video games

now I just play guitar

oshi you got a parker?

a real one or one of the cheap ones?

Me! 06-24-2006 01:03 PM

Naw it's real.

pics in hurr http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a11/TheGriffyn/

like a 96 nitefly or somethin. Picked it up for 560 on Ebay. Basically the guy never played or even touched it.

Miek 06-24-2006 01:07 PM

what game should I play/buy today guys

SirSpamalot 06-24-2006 01:08 PM

I = jealous

nice thong btw (as in flipflop)

that a composite neck? how does it feel?

Me! 06-24-2006 01:11 PM

Feels amazing. The carbon fiber and graphite neck is just plain awesome. The stainless steel frets are amazing too. The bends and vibrato are just so smooth on the guitar. The frets basically don't wear at all and they're really well-done so it plays the same all over the fretboard I've noticed.

SirSpamalot 06-24-2006 01:14 PM

wow

560...

too bad I need a new amp

Me! 06-24-2006 01:17 PM

What do you have now?

You could get a Mesa Nomad for like a little over 600 on ebay. That's what I did.

SirSpamalot 06-24-2006 01:20 PM

I could do but I'm not into the whole buy stuff before trying it and extensively a/bing it against a bunch of other amps thing

I'll just keep looking for a used one locally

just realized I haven't checked craigslist or usedottawa today actually

checking now

grrrrr nothing new

that framus head is still there but it's at 2200 cdn and I can't come close to that

Me! 06-24-2006 01:22 PM

yeah I took a gamble. I had tried out a friend's though.

ohshi better not doublepost

here's vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daZPT9psrDY

Miek 06-24-2006 02:22 PM

Yashnaheen 06-24-2006 02:23 PM

I watch UFC and Pride occasionally.

Captain Kirk 06-24-2006 02:26 PM

I'm goin to some shindig at my friends house in a bit for UFC stuff. I never watch it, but I haven't seen her in awhile so it should be fun

I can't make freds yet, which would be best for a fixer upper?

I've always wanted to try a 7, and I want really fat, yet clear tone, out of whatever I buy.

Yashnaheen 06-24-2006 02:34 PM

If your going to get a 7, make it at the very least a 25.5" scale

Miek 06-24-2006 02:34 PM

I'd say the LP, because Epi explorers feel wierd, only because I don't like the necks.

Nihongo_Forever 06-24-2006 02:35 PM
If your going to get a 7, make it at the very least a 25.5" scale
I actually am more partial to the shorter Gibson scale with 6 stringers.

What's wrong with short scale 7s?

I'll be using fairly hefty strings, so it won't be flabby or anything.

Yashnaheen 06-24-2006 02:40 PM

A B string on a 24.75" scale makes me a bit queesy. A 25.5" 7 feels a bit loose to me really. On factory strings tho.

Completely forget about going to A or lower on that guitar.

Captain Kirk 06-24-2006 02:40 PM

7>6

I'd go for the Goth
If your going to get a 7, make it at the very least a 25.5" scale
My 24.75 Dinky was lethal tuned to B.
Just gotta use the right strings.

Yashnaheen 06-24-2006 02:56 PM

Yeah, I tune my 25.5 to B at times for fun. Its a bit floppy on 10s but its playable.

I just wouldn't reccomend something that comes stock with a B string at such a scale length is all.

Nihongo_Forever 06-24-2006 02:58 PM

I'd use a custom string set anyways most likely.

Flatwounds at that most likely, no troubles.

Thomastik Infeld anyone?

overturned 06-24-2006 02:58 PM

Anyway, buy a better guitar.

Captain Kirk 06-24-2006 02:59 PM

eeew liquid vicoden is so bitter

But yeah try and find a longer scale 7 if you can

It's better or something

Nihongo_Forever 06-24-2006 02:59 PM

I like Gibson scale though...

Captain Kirk 06-24-2006 03:01 PM

Well if you like it don't let us stop you

Yashnaheen 06-24-2006 03:03 PM

Yeah, it would 'work'.

What do you like about the 24.75" so much? (curious, not trying to be an ***)

Nihongo_Forever 06-24-2006 03:30 PM

I just like the way it plays, I have smaller hands.

Miek 06-24-2006 03:36 PM

do you guys think that the agile tele has the same size hardware as fender?

overturned 06-24-2006 03:50 PM
do you guys think that the agile tele has the same size hardware as fender?
I'd doubt it would match exactly in all fairness.

Miek 06-24-2006 03:52 PM

yeah, thats what I was thinking
just was checking

yeah, so in my dream you were wearing a burberry cap, had brown hair, and you were wearing a black t-shirt and jeans

overturned 06-24-2006 03:53 PM

Sounds about right minus the cap, although I do want one.

Really want this...
