The Mods dislike me.
why

Mr. Night V2.0 04-08-2006 10:40 AM

Cos I keep gettin banned.

blue3 04-10-2006 12:02 AM

Ha.. that sucks.

Bazarov 04-10-2006 12:05 AM
Fuck yeah!!

Anyway i know Slayer are in the recording studio, but have they given us a release date yet?
No. Lazy bastards. Californians are masters of procrastination. On their site it has some pictures of them recording. I think they're just adding final touches to the songs now though.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-10-2006 01:18 AM

meh... I'm don't really have good expectations for it.

I would love to be proven wrong, though.

Bazarov 04-10-2006 01:20 AM

I'm with you on that. King says that it's going to be a "riff fest". But is it going to be a SLAYER riff fest, or a Slipknot inspired shit fest?

Tom said they'll play a few new songs on this tour. I'll have to really pay attention to them.

FatalEnergy 04-10-2006 01:26 AM

How much are the tickets for this next tour? I'm only intrested in seeing Slayer, the rest of the bands suck.

Bazarov 04-10-2006 01:30 AM

I agree, well CoB and Mastodon have a few songs I like. And Mastodon's singer has a crush on me. :(

But yeah I got my tickets for 35.00 then there was some faggotry service charge that made the tickets cost 39.00

Apocalyptic Raids 04-10-2006 01:32 AM
And Mastodon's singer has a crush on me.
O____O

FatalEnergy 04-10-2006 01:34 AM

That's actually cheaper then what I was expecting. Mabye I'll go see them again. I'm also intrested how the new stuff is going to hold up. I hope Lombardo told the rest of the band that they've sucked ever since he left.

Bazarov 04-10-2006 01:36 AM
O____O
 Last time I saw Slayer, Mastondon were playing, and I swear to God, the singer guy kept staring at me. Seriously for about 20 seconds making direct eye-contact with me.. so finally I threw up the horns and he gave some weird smile and nodded his head slowly at me.
That's actually cheaper then what I was expecting. Mabye I'll go see them again. I'm also intrested how the new stuff is going to hold up. I hope Lombardo told the rest of the band that they've sucked ever since he left.
He probably did. Seeing as last time I saw them they played most of their best songs, and only 2 crap ones. Those crap ones being Disciple, and Bloodline. Though those songs are lame, I think they're the only tolerable tracks on GHUA.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-10-2006 02:43 AM

Whenever I hear Bloodline, I think of that idiot on War At The Warfield who sings it infront of camera.

It feel like slapping him, and saying "Don't you know Piece By Piece?!?"

ugh.

I need a Slayer live album.
And I need more Slayer.

FatalEnergy 04-10-2006 04:02 AM

Get Live Undead or Decade of Agression. All the other little live things here and there that they've released are pretty weak. Still Reigning was kind of cool though.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-10-2006 04:49 AM

Get Decade Of Agression.

Apparently Live Undead is one of those fake live album things.

Yeah it's extremly fake and so cheesy. It's horible.

And Disciple is an amazing song. Not too impressed with Bloodline but i really like GHUA.

Hahaha! That guy is a total wanker. Still not as bad as the fat guy who thinks when "You see a fan with a Slayer t-shirt across the street... you just know".

What a nutjob.

hahaha yeah. fat nerdy slayer fan.

Interviewer/surveyer 04-10-2006 08:27 AM

Slayer got old for me after listening to them for 3 years...i still like them though and would have to say my favorite songs by them are War Ensemble, Raining Blood+Postmortem, and Altar of Sacrifice. Kerry King is the worst guitarist i can think of in a professional band and Hanneman is one of the Best. Hanneman is Slayer.

SimonCore 04-10-2006 09:22 AM

And the girl who's like "Necrophila? Yeah I could try it!". I hate all the fans on that video.

KK's a better guitarist than you are.

Considering guitarists in bands like Korn, Distubred, and Green Day are in professional bands, I'd say you don't know what you're talking about.

On topic of those odd fans. What about the dad who named his son, SAYER... in honor of Slayer. Wow.

Thats Fanboyism.

Bazarov 04-10-2006 02:31 PM

Yeah, I really like Slayer, but if I ever have a child. I don't think I'd ever name them after a band.

SimonCore 04-10-2006 02:40 PM
Yeah, I really like Slayer, but if I ever have a child. I don't think I'd ever name them after a band.
A good name would be Brian Maiden. Heh heh heh.

It's a little selfish, too.

Man, the threadstarter of this thread was a mega fag.

SimonCore 04-10-2006 02:54 PM

^Yeah lol. He didn't even try to do a write up! Fairplay he came up with a good thread name though.

No, SilentScream7 thought of the thread name.

I decided a long time ago to give my son a name with no vowels

NP: Crucial Unit - Nine Hundred Samosas

Bazarov 04-10-2006 03:20 PM

 Awesome.

I have a buddy who immigrated from Russia when he was like 8. I swear his last name has now vowels. It's like Khjklnqrsky. Okay that's an exaggeration, but his last name is crazy.

NP: Cannibal Corpse - The Undead Will Feast (demo)

Back in the day when Chris didn't use death metal vocals.

MegaMustaine 04-10-2006 03:23 PM

Slayer pwns. I do like Hanneman a lot more than King, but to each their pwn. :chug:

I remember when the whole of R&M was decided what to call this thread, and what to re-name that thread.

Fuck yeah they do! King may not be the best guitarist, but he has made some awesome riffs.

Hannemans guitar is awesome.

I think KK looked so much better with long hair, now he looks like a zombie creature.

SimonCore 04-10-2006 03:42 PM

I just downloaded Slayer live at Rock AM 2003. Set list as far as i remember:
1.Disciple-****
2.Stain of mind-****
3.Chemical warfare-***
4.Hell awaits-****
5.War ensemble-** truly was the worst war ensemble i've ever heard
6.Blood red-*****-never seen them do it live before and they did it perfectly
7.Show no mercy-****
8.Dead skin mask-****
9.Raining blood-****
ENCORE
10.South of heaven-****
11.Angel of death-***

Bazarov 04-10-2006 03:46 PM

When I saw them they opened with:
Darkness of Christ/Disciple
Stain of Mind

then in no particular order:
Manditory Suicide
South of Heaven
War Ensemble
Dead Skin Mask
Seasons in the Abyss
Chemical Warfare
Bloodline
Angel of Death

They ended with Postmortem and Raining Blood.

They may have played one or two more songs, but that's all I can remember them playing.

SimonCore 04-10-2006 03:47 PM

Oh yeah they played Maditory suicide after Chemical warfare aswell! I knew there was one i missed!

Stoo 04-10-2006 04:26 PM

Not very long sets considering the length of the songs... When I saw Opeth they played 9 songs but they were all 10 minutes +

Bazarov 04-10-2006 04:29 PM

Well the Rock AM was a festival so they weren't the main event. And when I saw them the show started like at 7:30 so really there wasn't much time for playing.
