Henrik 04-27-2006 05:50 AM

Nahh, I can't figure it out either.

From Whole Wehat Bread's Myspace Bulletin:

Got some exciting news today... we just learned we'll be touring the US in July/Aug with MXPX, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto & Transistion. Stay tuned for dates... we'll announce them as soon as we can.

and don't forget prior to that we've got all kinds of touring lined up... including the tour we're currently on w/ The Matches & MC Lars (see dates below). And don't forget this June it's the east coast and Canada with The Aquabats!

jettadude77 04-27-2006 07:14 PM

i kinda liked whole wheat bread when i saw them open for streetlight, they were pretty entertaining if anything

Brian Manifesto 04-27-2006 07:16 PM

yeah they are good, but this will be a really crowded ska show because of MXPX, plus Streetlight gained recognition from alot of people so it will be very crowded.

We knew this already.

post from the official streetlight website...

so the cat is out of the bag here and there on the internet, so we may as well annouce it here too: this summer we will be doing a full north american tour with reel big fish, mxpx and our old friends whole wheat bread. although we're saving the bulk of our new material for our post-record-release headlining tours, we will be slipping new streetlight tunes in here and there. we're more excited than anything about getting our sophomore record out, so stay tuned for news on that in the upcoming months as well. as for the summer tour, we'll be annoucing dates soon, but be sure to buy tickets in advance as many of the shows will likely sell out.

...so, right from the source. can't wait.

Catchthe22 05-04-2006 03:04 PM

That isnt on their site...unless they took that message down.

edit: nevermind, I guess the update only shows on Internet Explorer and not Firefox.

AIRIC 05-04-2006 03:12 PM

They better come to upsate New York woo!!

POINTLESS5448 05-04-2006 04:56 PM

yeah im going to cry if they dont come back down to the dirrty south. they probably will since whole wheat bread is with them. ive missed them twice because i suck at life.

Liebensaft 05-04-2006 05:28 PM

They're playing/played Bamboozle here. I could go if I wanted to pay $30 to hang out with scene kids all day just to see SM.

AIRIC 05-04-2006 07:18 PM

It might be worth it.

Liebensaft 05-04-2006 07:55 PM

I think the thing was in April anyway.

Danger Bird 05-04-2006 09:49 PM

There's a waning chance of me seeing SM with the Aquabats. If not, I'll just pray every night that BOTAR goes on tour after they put out their new album. Now that would be great. I would seriously pass up sex with three ladies to see that show.

Hmm, I think I'll wait for a headlining tour. Wait, I guess it depends. If MXPX are the headliners, I definately won't go. If it's RBF, I may be persuaded into going if tickets are cheap.

POINTLESS5448 05-05-2006 09:18 AM

who cares who is headlining? you dont have to see tehm. you can just go for streetlight. thats what im going to do. the only problem with mxpx headlining i think would be that it would sell out real quick so well see.

jettadude77 05-05-2006 11:54 PM

anybody go to that show on friday night in PA? how'd it go?

Yeah, but if MXPX headlines it will likely be expensive and full of assholes.

ibanezman575 05-07-2006 08:47 AM

mxpx isnt even that popular anymore

shangbang 05-07-2006 09:27 AM

I saw Streetlight at Bamboozle yesterday. They were by far the best band of the day.Heres the set list

A new song
That'll be the day
Point/Keasbey Nights/Counter-point
Everything Went Numb
New song
Heres to Life

Also they were the only band that got encore calls at the end of their set. They couldn't give one though because another band started playing right as their set ended at the other main stage.

POINTLESS5448 05-07-2006 09:58 AM

sounds sweeet! who else played there?

shangbang 05-07-2006 10:31 AM

http://www.thebamboozle.com/page-lineup.php

theres a list of all the bands. I went mainly for Streetlight and Thursday

POINTLESS5448 05-07-2006 10:43 AM

jesus thats amazing!

shangbang 05-07-2006 10:56 AM

Yea it was a good time. I wish I could have gone today to see Strike Anywhere, Lifetime and Paint it Black though

POINTLESS5448 05-07-2006 11:12 AM

yeah i would have gone to the one today over the one yesterday. i love how method man is right in the middle of all that too. m-e-t-h-o-d man!

how were the new songs? and thats sick that they put on such an awesome show.

shangbang 05-07-2006 07:25 PM

I liked the new songs a lot. It made me a lot more excited for the new album whenever that comes out

asdf 05-07-2006 07:27 PM

If streetlight plays near me this year, that will just be the cherry on top to this year being the best year for concerts for me ever.

And if I find a way to chicago in June to see W/IFS and Mischief Brew.

jettadude77 05-08-2006 12:34 AM
I liked the new songs a lot. It made me a lot more excited for the new album whenever that comes out
do you remember any song titles of the new ones?

shangbang 05-08-2006 05:57 PM

They didn't say the names of any of the new songs. All I remember is one of the songs had lyrics like"What would you say if I told you I was dying" or something similar to that
