Yeah Trev way to get all morally righteous. Doesn't it say in the Bible "Thou shalt not break the law"??

gmoneyguy 12-19-2007 07:42 PM
pretty sure anyone that is in any way offended by "merry christmas" is a ****ing tool
I doubt many people are offended, but the institutions that say happy holidays are trying to be inclusive to the other religions that have holidays around that same time as Christmas.

Permanent Solution 12-19-2007 07:45 PM

At work we had a holiday decoration contest and the group secretary or whatever sent out a request for themes for the christmas decorations, and suggested angels or something. She sent out an email an hour later suggesting snowflakes and apologizing for being insensitive to the many religions at work. (I am an electrical engineer so a bunch of the guys are probably not Christian)
I get along really well with all my siblings. We're close, actually, especially my brother and I.
Yeah, my sister and I have grown a lot closer the older we've gotten. I think sibling rivalry diminishes with age.

Yeah, because angelic figures don't exist in Islam or Hinduism.

And don't tell me those foreign yellow devils have gods, because we know they only value mathematics.

TojesDolan 12-19-2007 08:16 PM

The golden number.

And lead paint lol.

NemesisDivina 12-19-2007 08:26 PM

My God is such a sweet Jethro Tull song. That flute solo is fantastic.

Gonads 12-19-2007 08:27 PM

Jethro Tull kicks *** with the flute.

Riva 12-19-2007 08:29 PM
Jethro Tull kicks *** with the flute.
Yeah, imagine Jethro Tull and his flute jamming with Pink Floyd and his guitar.

I was actually making fun of the fact that people think Jethro Tull is a musician, instead of a 17th century farmer who provided the name of an English prog rock band led by Ian Anderson who plays the flute.

I guess it's just because you're so one-dimensional. =)

Impending Doom review, if anyone would like to offer constructive criticism of my reviewing, please feel free.

Riva 12-19-2007 08:41 PM

It's pretty well-written, but you should say "exactly the same" instead of "the exact same".

Also, you spell their as thier a lot, especially in the third paragraph.

EDIT: And using avidly to describe marketing sounds awkward, maybe try forcefully?

Because you're always insulting me right before bed.

Nightime is the time to be making me hot chocolate and giving me masages.

Gonads 12-19-2007 08:46 PM

I hate when I drink too much water before I go to sleep because then I have to pee all night and the hardest thing to do is get up after you fall asleep.

Definitely, thanks Jason.

I have a lot of little things I tend to do like that. I'm getting better about it though.

Did you know your bladder can expand to almost 4 times its original size? It's an amazing organ.

EDIT: No worries mate. I gave you a "well-written" vote.

I was just going to correct you on that, you sly dog.

Riva 12-19-2007 08:52 PM
I never knew that, is that a good thing?
It's a normal occurrence, and quite necessary, unless you plan on living on the toilet. :p

Valhall 12-19-2007 08:53 PM

What does the "objectivity" refer to in the User Profile?

Riva 12-19-2007 08:54 PM

How much of a fanboy you are, I think.

I have low objectivity cos I usually only review albums that I love.

Shattered_Future 12-19-2007 08:55 PM

Doesn't that give you high objectivity, or am I on crack?

pate 12-19-2007 08:56 PM

Crack

Valhall 12-19-2007 08:57 PM

I have an 86% objectivity, and have done reviews and ratings of all kinds of different bands and stuff, so that's why I was wondering...

Shattered_Future 12-19-2007 08:58 PM

Damn, I knew it would come back to haunt me...

So, I officially love film scores now. Rockin' out to some Eleni Karaindrou right now...very haunting score.

Valhall 12-19-2007 09:02 PM

Also, what's the site rank measured by, and what exactly does it measure?

Riva 12-19-2007 09:04 PM

It measures your approval rating and the number of albums reviewed. It's weight towards quantity though, hence I am 109 with 19 reviews and 100% approval.

pate 12-19-2007 09:04 PM

Penis size

The Door Mouse 12-19-2007 09:04 PM

Site rank doesn't matter anymore. But it combines your amount of reviews and your % approval.

EDIT: Damn it Riva

Valhall 12-19-2007 09:05 PM

I see.

gmoneyguy 12-19-2007 09:05 PM

I thought objectivity was derived from the ratio of your album ratings.

Valhall 12-19-2007 09:05 PM

I don't have a site rank yet .

The Door Mouse 12-19-2007 09:09 PM
I thought objectivity was derived from the ratio of your album ratings.
1st factor: The average of your rating
2nd factor: How much it differs from the sites rating
