Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 08:25 PM

What was your gimmick account? Surely not CG, because you haven't changed much..:-/

EDIT: I'm having trouble with Rapidshare. It's not letting anyone download the songs I uploaded, because they're already being downloaded. If someone's downloading them currently, hurry the hell up! :p

Drugstep 08-09-2005 08:26 PM

That's not true. I'll admit a few bad posts, but I've been a very mature user on the average, and you know it.

Can you guys check out my new song? :)

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 08:32 PM

Ok, I'm downloading it right now. :-D

ATM 08-09-2005 08:33 PM

Thanks buddy, be kind :)

I am downloading a Silver Mount Zion concert.

Drugstep 08-09-2005 08:39 PM

Before I go, can someone link me to the post where I was convicted guilty?

Not the stuff on page 1115

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 08:43 PM

The Party Posse has been sworn to secrecy.

Kingofdudes 08-09-2005 08:45 PM

Lets put it this way, a song sealed the deal.

Drugstep 08-09-2005 08:46 PM

OH! That song. I did put a reference or two or three or seventeen in there.

Well, that's cool. I guess that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I'm gonna go take a shower, and I intend to then take a hiatus from this site.

jpj 08-09-2005 09:04 PM
The Party Posse has been sworn to secrecy.
Is there any specific Dead you want me to upload?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 09:07 PM

Well, pick the best 2 songs that don't appear on Reckoning, as it's all I've heard. Thanks in advance. :-D

Man, I wish Jom was here right now. This who ordeal would be a lot more comical then. :p

jpj 08-09-2005 09:08 PM

hxxp://s31.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2M2U6IIEBK7052JRSWEG4XY65U

That's Anthem of the Sun, I uploaded it for Walrus in A&I. You just want songs, not an album?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 09:11 PM

Yeah, Dialup+full albums=A day long trek. :upset: Thanks for the offer, though. :) I'll download it now.

EDIT: Nvm, the biggest file I've succesfully downloaded was 30 megs. Any file bigger than that, at it will freeze at like 60 percent every time. Meh, I think I'm fairly well off with the Dead that I've got now. Once I dive deeper into those, I'll come runnin' to ya.

jpj 08-09-2005 09:18 PM

Well, I have these uploaded already so:

Sugar Magnolia-hxxp://s57.yousendit.com/d.php?id=2NAG4CIWU2O0G3A3ML2JZ0RGG0

Truckin'-hxxp://s57.yousendit.com/d.php?id=6JFC2WIKPISC2VEK698WRWCGS

Both off American Beauty.

Walrus Gumboot 08-09-2005 09:31 PM

SWEET I just realized Futurama is on

I would also recommend Casey Janes to get one into the GD, but if you have their best of I am sure that is on it

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 09:35 PM

Ah, I've heard those. I think I forgot to mention one other either live or best of Grateful dead that I have, and it has those on them. Both great tracks.

Moses 08-09-2005 09:40 PM

I couldn't get a hold of my Wagner collection so I did a thread on the new Nevermore album instead of a Classical Education Thread.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 09:42 PM

Yes! I've been wanting to hear them anyways. Good news of great joy either way. :p

Jom 08-09-2005 09:42 PM

Meh, I'm kind of pissed at FtR. He's a good user, but plagarized articles suck.

I was in the middle of an article on Mudvayne (I started writing some articles on alternative and nu-metal acts) and the last thing I needed to do was provide uploads, and the kid practically plagarized from the band's official site and allMusic. So now, my article (which was my own work, not just copy-and-pasted from the Internet) is good for shit.

/feels like he has to scrap the article grudgingly

Oh, and there's a huge chemical explosion downtown, and the fire is quite a spectacle. The local station was interviewing these teenage kids who were under the influence of something... well:

Reporter: "So can you tell me... what is it that you smelt at the time?"
Teenager: "Oh, it smelt like burning shit."
Reporter [stammering]: "Oh, uh, we can't say that on the air."

The fire is so hot and so wide that the fire crews can't get close to putting it out. There are explosions everywhere because the canisters keep catching on fire.

Moses 08-09-2005 09:47 PM

You should still go and post yours. I'd rather post in yours because you actually worked on yours. Besides I mean you're Jom you could do anything and not get banned.

Sounds like a good show. What state?
You should still go and post yours. I'd rather post in yours because you actually worked on yours. Besides I mean you're Jom you could do anything and not get banned.
I don't want to give the impression that I walk over everyone on MX. Besides, he's normally a good user, but come on... plagarization is lame. You can tell what part is copied too because the " and `` marks are interchanged in differint spots in the article. And then I can't help and think, "Uh, haven't I read this somewhere before?"
Sounds like a good show. What state?
The only state with two peninsulas.

Okay, Michigan.

The plant is just a huge fireball right now. Because it's by an airport, they thought a plane crashed into it. People within the square mile are evacuating and everyone is chilling at community centers and churches and things.

The fireballs when they explode are huge. The guys in the chopper are all like, "Ohh, did you see that?!" over the reporters who are trying to say what's going on. It's random but kind of humorous.

They were zoomed in on this chemical silo thing, and then it just exploded in all directions. People said that it was raining plastic, and there are even reports of people getting hit with the plastic and getting chemical burns.

Pretty scary stuff.

EDIT to Moses: Nah, I'll just wait. There's no point in doing anything.

Moses 08-09-2005 09:55 PM

Well post what you have down in here because I'm still interested. Or else just post it in that thread. I'd appreciate it.

Walrus Gumboot 08-09-2005 10:07 PM

I'd say it was aliens. Definatly.

It really sucks that all those people must be loosing their jobs/homes

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 10:09 PM

The fire will probably last 5 or so days. You really can't put out a plant like that once it's started, because the chemicals just act as a very powerful, and virtually unstopable catylist. It probably depends on what exaclty the plant was, but that sounds like what happened in the town near mine.

I'm watching this on the news too. Do you know how it exploded?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 10:27 PM

Oh yeah, you guys are the mx neighboring fools, huh? Sweet.

Does it mention what chemicals are burning?

MBS 08-09-2005 11:12 PM
Hello all. I actually didn't post this morning because my brother didn't want me on the internet.

I regret to say that I am CemetaryGates.

It started in 2004, when I posted here under several screennames, changing every now and then because people got mad at me. I was a fairly good poster, but people were still assholes. I decided I would make a gimmick account to piss everyone off, and after I was banned I decided I would go back to being an intelligent poster, and I have been.

There have been CG references dropped, but those were just to see if anyone would notice.

And, though I posted like CG maybe five or six times, I have over 800 posts and I wish you would concentrate on strength in numbers. And, despite what some people believe, I never talked about murder once, because that's not how I am. That was part of a gimmick.

Anyhow, congrats on finding out, and I hope we can put this all behind us.
Holy shit, you're fucking kidding me. :amaze:

You did not post like CemetaryGates at all.

Riva 08-09-2005 11:16 PM

Sorry, GO, but you were acting quite a bit like CG. Something about you didn't sit right, and it pissed me off. I didn't put my finger on it until Aaron (KoD) and Jom told me that you still posted here.

I'm not one to hold grudges, but I haven't seen much to show that you have changed your act from the bastard you used to be.

Illmatic 08-09-2005 11:20 PM

So are you still a fat mess or did you make that up too?

How did they find out that it was him?

Edit: Nevermind, Med did an IP scan.

Riva 08-09-2005 11:23 PM

It was fairly obvious, if you were looking at the right things. Obvious enough for 5 people to come to the conclusion independantly, that is.

Ask Jom for more details. He's the Lawman of the Party Posse.

Mekkalayakay 08-09-2005 11:25 PM

Well at least Madey will be happy.

Oh wait, no she won't.

NP: Kool Keith - Livin' Astro

Congratulations 08-09-2005 11:25 PM

I just got back from a friends house where we watched Kung Fu Hustle. It was awesome, if you havn't seen it I highly recommend it. That is if you like cheesy kung fu movies with sub-titles.

Moses 08-09-2005 11:28 PM

If you like any type of metal check out my Nevermore thread.
Eh, you don't remember the picture, do you. It's probably a good thing.
When was this? I think I'm glad I missed it.

MBS 08-09-2005 11:29 PM

And, uh, what is this "Party Posse"?

Riva 08-09-2005 11:33 PM

The Party Posse is a group of law-abiding citizens who rose from the ashes of a corrupt city-state in the winter of 2005.

Formed by Lawman Jom, the enigmatic ex-Special Forces Officer, they number 7 at the moment. Dedicated to eliminating the most repugnant traits of mankind - lies, rape, murder, stupidity, they are the last bastion of hope and light against the forces of Hell.

Applications for joining can be made at the HQ of the PP, in the MNM threads.
