Does anyone else think Rowling will write a sh!tty love plot with ron + hermione...?
Hopefully not. I just hope Harry doesn't spend the whole book yelling at people again. If he doesn't, it has potential to be really good.
So, now that the protesters have got the **** out of my capital I can go shopping for my friend's 18th birthday pressent.
Today's trip yielded nothing for him...but Clutch - Robot Hive/Exodus (£8.99), The Suicide Machines - A Match and Some Gasoline (£4.99), and The Blues Brothers - A Briefcase Full of Blues (£4.99), for myself.

I'm a bad person :(
Nah, you're not. So long as you keep buying good music, anyway :)

Is that the new Clutch, incidentally? What's it like?

Well this one isn't half as thick as the last...which means there cannot be 300 page sof 'oh look harry is bieng victimised by some b!tch' which iritated mes lightly, and also stopped me from recapping on the story this week...Instead I'm reading Mort by Terry Pratchet, which, is rather humerous.

Stupid protesters. Nothing gave me more pleasure this week than seeing them get beaten by the riot police. Show no mercy!!!!

NP : Eminem - Toy Soldiers.

/I am thinking of getting this tatooed on my upper back, but without the words, but im scared people will think im part of a satanic cult.

And i dont want to hear about 'think about it man, they last forever.'

vocman 07-11-2005 06:12 AM

It would be a nice tattoo.
ow yeah, can anyone tell me if Soulseek is a safe program? my previous computer crashed because of Kazaa...

Yeah it is the latest one. I haven't listened to it yet, though, as I've been out enjoying the sun :)

I'm pretty sure it's safe. It doesn't come with alot of the spyware that Kazaa and Limewire do and I think you're less likely to pick up a virus from it. It's worked fine for me, so far.

What's wrong with protesting against G8?

It would make a cool tatoo and sure tatoos can be removed but...wont it hurt?

EDIT
ow yeah, can anyone tell me if Soulseek is a safe program? my previous computer crashed because of Kazaa...
Soulseek is ok, never had a crash because of it. However I have little viruses here and there that I dont know where they come from.
What's wrong with protesting against G8?

there's nothing wrong with protesting against the G8, as long as they keep it to themselves.
When they start involving people who don't care and disrupting people's lives that's when it get's severly wrong.

Stoic 07-11-2005 06:40 AM

oh, if you think of it this way I agree. I also hate it when protesters block the streets, for example. It's unfair for the rest. But this is "democracy"...

I couldn't care less.
They can protest all they want, but when they start messing up my plans they lose all sympathy from me.

Six Foot Revolver 07-11-2005 06:47 AM

I am thinking about changing my name again (sigh). What do you think I could change it to?

I still say a sword would have been the way to go.

NP Halfway To Gone - Whiskey Train

munky_magik 07-11-2005 06:51 AM

Apart from the problem that I originally pointed out, another one occured to me:
The easiest and cheapest place to get a sword would have been from Edinburgh. But I would't have been able to get to the shops that sell them becuase of the protesters.
Apparently they had all bases covered.

Anyway, I'm away to sun myself again.
I am thinking about changing my name again (sigh). What do you think I could change it to?
If you don't have an idea in your head then perhaps you don't need a change.
Tattoos do not hurt, i have quite a few. Removing them generally is not worth it because it will still leave a scar in the shape of the tattoo and it costs a lot more than the tattoo ever did. However getting tattoos covered up by other tattoos is a very viable option

TheMachineRagesOn 07-11-2005 07:17 AM

Hes got a hellavu point, im copying flea and getting that circle design thing he has on his chest very soon, does anybody find that lame or..

its a f*cking cool tattoo..

Well yeah, my plan kind of hinged on you using the sword you already own. I suppose I should stop thinking of countries in terms of stereotypes :)

Wasn't it you that said you weren't sure there were any good political shows? :-/

Oh, on the political satire thread? I said there weren't too many, I think. The only one I know of would be The Daily Show. I think I mentioned that.

I didnt know this about removal. Well, Joe 'think about it man, they last forever'! However painless they are, they're done with needles and this alone is very discouraging :(
