I think the ending of Thus Spake the Nightspirit is the most epic thing I have ever heard.

Yeah **** is so cash. |
Mhmmm, Emperor is great. This is a great read and laugh but a bit long, at least look at the comments. If you are a Marduk fan skip this.

Actually the whole album is pretty tits, it's the only one I didn't have, save for EP's and live albums. I just picked up Live Inferno too. Been playing it at work, as far as I know we're the only Guitar Center that plays Emperor on the TV's \m/
|
I've been meaning to pick up Emperors live double CD.
Bands whose themes focus on "theistic satanism". Pretty much bands that wank it to how legit satan is.
Ah okay. |

http://www.antihumanism.com/2009/05/marduk-black-metals-biggest-tryhard-losers/
I always liked their first 3, before they become Core Division Marduk, with that poor frontman Legion. =/ Listening to In The Nightside Eclipse again for the first time in over a year, reminds me why this is the cd that made me interested in black metal. |
I eventually moved into this genre after I started listening to a lot of Folk/Viking.
First albums were Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and A Blaze in the Northern Sky. |
My first real black metal albums were Det Som Engang Var and Transilvanian Hunger. I've always loved TH but DSEV took a lot longer to click with me.
|
A Blaze in the Northern Sky, Storm of the Light's Bane, and Dark Medieval Times were my introduction to black metal. Still spin the first 2 on the regular.
|
i get so pissed when bm elitists start trash talking Dissection
bugs the crap outta me |
I could never get into Dissection for some reason.

Why not Dark Medieval Times? I still really like that album, actually. As for Dissection, I only like Storm of the Light's Bane. |
It's not bad but it's a little dull so I don't find myself listening to it much |
