Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 02:09 PM

So, thanks to Ollie, I started learning Aces High today. :-D It's going quite well. I learned all the parts, minus the solo, which I'm going to have to do some genocidal improvisation, on the account of my suckage. :p It's still an awesome track to play. Plus, with this effect that I have on my Digitech pedal, I can play one part, and the effect augments the sound by a 5th, so both sounds come through at once, making it sound like I'm playing 2 guitar parts. Now how uber cool/lazy is THAT?

magicbus 08-09-2005 02:09 PM

Yea it is going very, very slow.

So I'm thinking about using MSN Messenger...

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 02:12 PM

Get it, Aaron. It would make me more inclined to get on msn to talk to my in-person friends. :p It's quite a bit more advanced than AIM, but it's still very easy to use. Plus, there's this awesome plugin that you can get so that after your screen name, there's this automatic "Now Playing:" feature.

Endless Obsession 08-09-2005 02:16 PM

Jake - So like two days ago I was browsing MX and I came across a picture of you. That night I was dreaming and was walking down the street and I saw an add in the paper for a family that needed their garage cleaned out. So I went by the house and started cleaning it. Then the mom invited me in for some lemonade and it was your house. So we jammed on guitar for a little bit and then I left. Wierd becase I barely ever talk to you.

magicbus 08-09-2005 02:19 PM

I've never had a dream about MX or its related persons.

Ok, my MSN thing is rockshowguy56@hotmail.com. Everybody add me real quick, and then message me so I can add you back.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 02:22 PM

 That's wierd, because I just cleaned out my garage like 2 weeks ago. I think I had an mx dream last night. I don't remember what about, but I think 307 was there, and it had something to do with an mx college.

I was watching this Cuban jazz group and man I'm floored. They're all like 80 year old dudes and this guy was doing a guitar solo behind his back and just shredding/bebopping.

Are any of you guys having trouble with YSI or Megaupload? YSI refuses to upload any of my files, it just keeps taking me to a blank page. And megaupload just won't upload.

Moses 08-09-2005 02:53 PM

I think reincarnation is not really valid in my book. I think it's weird since the number of living things on the earth is growing larger and larger meaning that some of these souls would have to come out of nowhere. Also it makes the soul seem like a recycled and trashy thing thrown around and who decides what your next life will be? I haven't done enough research on reincarnation so spare me if I made any stupid comments. Cool story though.

EDIT: About the STRV thread.

Even if they do have a 25 terabyte server, that would still fill up pretty quickly. :-/

Lord Abortion 08-09-2005 04:04 PM

you know what?
I forgot to mention this...
My dad gets to meet johnny rotten from the sex pistols, because he is filming something for TV on Hadrian's wall and my dad is Northumberland national Park's representative there at the TV thing...
how cool is that!?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-09-2005 04:21 PM

You know what's cooler? I'm taking the time to upload Question! for you, Ollie! With Rapidshare, so we'll see how it goes. So far, it's going a lot faster than YSI. 3.4 uploaded, should be done shortly. :-D
