Darkthrone is sick, Under a Funeral Moon is one of my favs.

Are you talking about Cromlech? Cause you really can't hear what's going on with that album, and when you can it sounds like a weak version of Cartilage idk.

Soulside Journey is pretty good, just sorta generic old school death. If it comes on in shuffle, it's rare I can identify it as Darkthrone.

seriously don't see what the deal is with them, its nothing special at all, the solo is completely tacked on, riffs are too chuggy

I'll stick to Woe of Tyrants (who have a similar demographic, but are more enjoyable)

soulside journey is darker than the normal run of the mill swedish DM. also some of the riffs and lyrics from their next abandoned album goatlord were used in a blaze in the northern sky. it can be very good at times but it's nothing special.

They aren't anything special and Woe of Tyrants is even worse.

Soulside Journey is my favorite Darkthrone album.
