Really, that's surprising. If there are any chain stores near you, like Tower, Virgin, etc., I'm sure you could fine it.
Lol What i meant was its hard to find the time for me to get my fat ass off the coutch
The funny thing is this..
I didn't specifically refer to just Tool. I refered to music in general..

You on the other hand keep making me out to be *just* a Tool fanboy. But that's fine. For some reason I always see people come onto this board and they have to try and make a distinction between themselves and the "weird tool fans", as if they are going to be thrown out of the popular club if they don't..
So they say that it's stupid to try and look into lyrics and music in fear that a pop-culture nazi will beat them upside the head. But what does it matter if someone does..? Then they come back and say, "Well, you're doing the exact same thing Tool tells you not to do, and over analyse!" Again...and?

Music since the beginning of time was made to teach, stir feeling, stir thought, and tell stories. If a person just wants to listen to just music, put on some headphones, blast the techno/classical/soundtracks, and don't worry about lyrics..

Lyrics are words. Words have meaning. Therefore, there is always something to get from lyrics..

But you have your view and I have mine. I respect that. But you can't bash a person for finding a joy in listening to lyrics and music as a whole and getting something from it..

Thanks you to satchforever and Shadius for understanding..

I'm sorry I lashed out at you (although I still think signing posts is pointless and looks ridiculous). Compared to what "in2deep060501" posted above me, everything you've said is golden. At least you can spell.

i dont kno what kind of drugs ur on but u need to stop seriously. ok i admit im new to the whole posting/thread starting deal and ur making it way more complicated than it needs to be. i kno there are other *official* threads for the bands i listed in my thread ok im not a dumbass. I wanted to make a sort of disscusion for those bands. I wanted to hear other people's opinions about them b/c they are some of my fav bands. i would apperciate if u would try to help me out here instead of bringing me down. u seem like u kno alot more about the forums than me, but that doesnt give u the right to be an ******* like u have been.

We don't care if you're dumb or smart. Just stop typing in short-hand - it is as irritating as hell...

alright..I'll stop. I've developed a bad habit of typing in shorthand and it's hard to break. I'll be sure to type right in future posts.

So it's October.

Where's that friggin' September newsletter.

The reason for trying your best to type with good grammar/puncuation/spelling is so that everyone can read your post well and understand what your saying without busting out there pocket decoder. No one's trying to be a prick, it's just friendly on the eyes.
Huber- Here are some of the most wicked Tool wallpapers around, even though you didn't vote for me in the RMOTM. (:p)
RMOTM? What's that?

SickoKid 10-01-2005 01:54 AM

I'm guessing something-something of the month.

Good question.

As for me... I have Audioslave tonight. :thumb: :D

Syncratic 10-01-2005 11:41 AM

So...for the past week, I haven't listened to Tool or APC.

For me, it was unhealthy to listen to primarily those two bands.

I think I'll have a new outlook on this music now.

Indeed. ;)

Magicaltroll 10-01-2005 07:35 PM

So... Any news on Tool that's worth hearing?
My computer has been dead, so I haven't been on.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-01-2005 08:35 PM

Nothing great. Lateralus came out on vinyl, but you probably already know that, depending on how long you're computer has been fried. Welcome back, anyways. :)

Magicaltroll 10-01-2005 08:50 PM

Yup, that's OLD news :p
And thanks.

ThePatient 10-01-2005 09:19 PM

Speaking of which, has anyone actually gotten it?

Static 10-01-2005 09:28 PM

I did, for collector purposes.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-01-2005 09:28 PM

The guy who made up the story about the September 25th release date did. He said it was 30 bucks, so forget that. :p I did also hear though, that the track order is somehow messed up. Disposition appears somewhere earlier in the album, which is odd.

Dude3 10-01-2005 09:31 PM

It seemed like you were missing for a little bit on here, Brian.

No news really. I went to Ska is Dead 3 in St.Petersburg, Florida. Streetlight Manifesto headlined. Possibly the best concert I've ever been to.

On a side note: Does anybody have any live videos of The Dillinger Escape Plan? I used to have some, but I accidently deleted them.

I'm sure all footage is destroyed during Greg Puciato's chaotic water bottle attacks on the audience. I was lucky to make it out alive without having an Evian bottle rammed down my throat.

Dude3 10-01-2005 09:36 PM

I saw DEP in Orlando, during Gigantour.

Well technically, I was in-line getting autographs from Megadeth. But I could still see them a little bit.

Anyways, if somebody does have some live DEP vids and would'nt mind sending them to me, my AIM is Crazynessdude3
My e-mail is Crazynessdude3@aol.com

Just got back from Porcupine Tree live. All I can say is wow.

It's now that Dan-whores-his-brief-live-review time.

I saw them in Boston; one of the best shows I've ever been to.

He hasn't updated in a while. I want more recording pictures.
