carbombsandconversations 08-10-2008 08:21 PM

"i think"

JonG 08-10-2008 10:25 PM

R read something on All That Remain's new album and Phil said it was going to be totally different and original..

I listened to the songs on Myspace, and it still sounds really generic.

The kids over on download's official forums are the stupidest most ill informed people I've come across. I recommended some good metalcore which included, botch, converge, PTW, FASSW, Kiss it Goodbye, Coalesce, 7A7P, Misery Signals, Architects and Johnny Truant and this was the reply
The Architects are ****ing terrible, Johnny Truant are pretty good, Converge are hardcore btw.
I havent heard many of them bands and I love Metalcore its my fav genre and some of them also sound like your average scene crap thats out now days like BMTH also Misery Signals are just awful there one of if not the worst metalcore band I've ever heard, their like a extremely soft slightly confuzzled sea lion version of AILD (I think that was the band I compaired them too when I last heard them)
and even from another poster
And for the Record, From A Second Story Window, Architects and Misery Signals coudn't be further from Metalcore if they tried.

:-(

Dimmu Burger 08-11-2008 11:42 AM

Frankie you must never post there again, I wouldn't want them to rub off on you.

4yearpro? 08-11-2008 11:50 AM

any1 no the lineup(ordeR) for the thrash and burn tour?

Dimmu Burger 08-11-2008 11:54 AM

I think it's done in tiers. Darkest Hour always headlines, Parkway Drive and Misery Signals are before them, StyG and WoP before them, Arsis and Abigail Williams before them and AGAtG and After The Burial open the show. I could be completely wrong though.

4yearpro? 08-11-2008 11:55 AM

ok thanks, i hope its like that cuz im gonna get there right b4 they start and get some merch then put the stuff away in coat check so i dont wanna miss WOP or parkway drive

Dimmu Burger 08-11-2008 11:56 AM

I'm really only excited for Misery Signals and Arsis, the rest are good but not amazing.

4yearpro? 08-11-2008 11:59 AM

eh i dont like those two. i've seen misery signals 4 years ago on strhess tour with dh and bleeding through. i didnt like them back then but ill c how they r now. im rly only going DH of course, WOP, Parkway drive, and kinda for STYG

Dimmu Burger 08-11-2008 12:01 PM

Well MS has a new vocalist now, so we'll see how he affects their live show, but I like the old guy better on record.

4yearpro? 08-11-2008 12:08 PM

o ok, ill c how they r and ill try to remember the DH setlist if any1 cares

that sounds about right

adb 08-11-2008 02:04 PM

Arsis is easily the best band on the tour, I just wanna know how many/which songs they play. Them and Abigail Williams.
