Yes, same in Spanish, but slightly different (legumbres). I'm almost 100% positive that peanuts are legumes and not vegetables. A peanut is a seed in a pod, and we eat the seed. However, it is not a vegetable (from my understanding...someone correct me if I'm wrong).

That may be, but I can think of few finer accompaniments to a relaxing lie on a tropical beach in the Philippines than a chilled glass of fresh Durian juice on ice.

Or for that to buy one from a chinese marketplace and eat it on a large rock surrounded by bamboo with a view over the valleys to the sea.

I think it's a smaller class division. Like a rabbit is a mammal, but it's a lagamorph, not a rodent. A peanut is a plant, but it's a legume, not a vegetable.

i was at d of e today and the leader mentioned that a few weeks ago they were cleering out the building and they threw a full huge pa setup in a dumster wen they were cleering out the back room and that he was intending to give it to me/my band because they didnt need it, he just forgot to tell them not to move it. the onley thing we managed to save was a rusty old mic stand.......guted
