Im Sorry .

From hence forth I will devote all my time spreadign the word of the pomegrante

super deluxe 11-09-2004 03:32 PM

Basskiid: a fret buzz can have different sources. It could be that your truss rod isn't correctly adjusted. It could be that your action is too low. It could be that the neck is twisted. Could be that you have some unequal fret wear and your frets need recrowned. Gotta be more specific with your questions.

There is a famous Greek Myth involving pomegranites and a Goddess named Persephone.

No, it's a pomegranite. Those things are so good. The seeds are coated with like, jelly, and you just suck on them. They're amazing. They're the only fruit where we eat just the seeds.

bottlerocket 11-09-2004 03:37 PM

Fruit fun fact: Fruits have their outer skin (by outer skin I mean anywhere that's not the central core) saturated in a sweet, tangy, and tasty flavor for reproduction purposes. Think about it: animals eat the outer area of the core, spread the seeds, and viola, reproduction.
then what happened?
The beautiful daughter of Demeter and Zeus, Persephone is the focus of the story resulting in the division of the seasons, giving us the sweetness of Spring and the bitterness of Winter. Hades did not woo the beautiful Persephone, he abducted her and took her to his underground kingdom. After much protest, Persephone came to love the cold blooded king of the underworld but her mother, Demeter, was consumed with rage and sorrow. She demonstrated her anger by punishing the earth’s inhabitants, gentle and fierce with bitter cold and blustering winds. Unless Persephone was returned of to her mother’s side, the earth would perish.
Herakles came to the rescue. He entered the kingdom of Hades and negotiated a compromise between the (usually cold and selfish) Hades and the (usually loving and caring) Demeter. All agreed that Persephone would to spend part of the year with her husband, Hades, and part of the year with her mother, Demeter.
When Persephone is with Hades the earth is wracked by the sorrow of her mother. But, when Persephone returns from the underworld to walk the earth again, Demeter pours forth the blessings of Spring to welcome her beloved daughter home.

To put it simply, I got this from messagenet.com by the way. The pomegranite sealed the deal.
Speaking of vegetablefruits, anyone ever had a durian? They smell like death incarnate. I don't know why anybody seeks them out for eating.

Because they taste absolutely gorgeous! Seriously, you may have to peg your nose to do it, but they are lovely.

bottlerocket 11-09-2004 03:43 PM

1-Watermelon are fruits (learn the definition of a fruit  Heh, just joking).

2-Yes, apples/oranges are just "giant ovaries" as super deluxe so wonderfully put it.

3-Peanuts are not fruit or vegetables. They are legume, or "pods," although they are related to the pea family.
