Posting in this thread obviously means you have left the thread. Although you dont post 500 posts per day anymore, so that's a change. :p |
does anybody know if Kirk plays little wing on the Live Sh*t DVD's.
If so Seattle or San Deigo? Because when I get Live Sh*t I'm going straight to that!
Yes, its really amazing, I have the video on my phone, I just wanted to capture the moment lol... I must say when Kirk does play little wing look at the crowd near the front..! They look really bored. grrrr, I would of thrown beer over them, just to wake em up! |
This is quite interesting because MX has improved incredible amounts in the last month
Meh, maybe its just me today then |

Is there a particular reason why "hardcore old school" Metallica fans would rather stick their privates in a mouse trap than listen to St. Anger? What's so bad about it? So it's not the same but it's still the same band more or less. I'm not attacking anyone here I just want to know why is it that so many people don't really like it that much. I think it's pretty good and I like "Some Kind of Monster" better than "St. Anger". Is it because it's such a huge change from their old stuff? I don't get it.
|
The production, the drum sound, par a few odd songs its pretty mediocre
|
but the guitar is excellent. yes there is no solo, but the guitar work is great

Most people that refuse to listen to saint anger just because it's different are close minded people that also say, I wont listen to pop punk because it's poppy, or I hate nu metal because all bands suck (which is not true btw). I think that sums it up. :thumb: |

Or perhaps they don't like it? You can still be open minded and not like it. |
My friend today told me that drop C doesn't exist. Somebody tell me how St. Anger was in drop C, then.

123'd I like to see him explain how it doesn't exist. It's just drop D tuned a step down. |
I had my geetar down 3 steps a few days ago, i think my intention was to learn some Helmet songs but it never happened
|
I have never drop tuned my guitar (probably because I never play it)
/Goes to drop C guitar Can you drop C basses or is it a bad idea? |
You can drop them aye, i dont see why it would be a bad idea
|

If any body can read this I think the thread broke.

What ? Are you saying that because nobody has posted in a while? |
is it just my comp or does this thread go up to page 816...but every page after 806 is nothing but a quick reply box...
|
Oh, I see what you're talking about. Yes, it's like that for me too.
|
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??? IM FREAKING OUT!!!
just playing...but why would that only happen in the metallica thread? I think its sabatoge!!! |
Yeah i thought there were a bunch of pages but then i went to them and they were just reply boxes.
who here thinks that metallica's new album will be the left over songs from ST. Anger sessions, like temptation(from SKOM)? |
time to shut this thread and get a new one
|
wut the, fixed now
|

so have they already started making a new album, or what?
|
Some say yes, some say no. We do not know for sure yet. I sure hope they're currently recording but they probably aren't.
|
yeah, it better be really good though
|
Im sure after all the anti-st. anger stuff, they'll make something much better. It would be pretty foolish to make something similiar to saint anger after seeing that not many people enjoyed the album.
