I agree, but that's not the case for a lot of people.

I understand that people evolve beyond the music they listen to. For instance I was deeply entrenched in delta blues for a long time, but I wouldn't say I'm "cooler" or a "better" music listener because I broadened my horizons.

Music is ultimately about enjoyment. If you like something for "cool points" your gay. If you like something because you get some sort of enjoyment out of it, then listen to it and **** what everyone else thinks.

What do you all think about this 1st person shooter game Suffocation is gonna release? There's supposed to be unreleased tracks in it and idk what else, blood and guts i guess. I saw a pic of it in a magazine and it looked Doomish. Maybe it's like you're Suffocation and you gotta kill all the crappy bands that are annoying. That would make for a fun game. yepppp.

I listen to hardcore, metal, indie, alternative, rap, rock, and electronic music ( just lump it all like that), etc.

Don't get how I'm closed minded, but I guess if I PREFER heavy music, it must mean it's the only music I enjoy.

I listen to almost all genres, even obscure genres like speedcore that no one listens to on MX.

I'll go to a metal show be it whatever genre, then the next time I'll go to a club that primarily plays House, etc.

I'm sure there's only a handful of people on this forum that can attest to this, it's not that you guys are closed minded, we're just much more opened minded (and cooler).

They are good live too, their drummer is a freak, saw em couple months ago with whitechapel.

Whitechapel is boring and sloppy live dude, and like seriously their riffs are so unskilled because they aren't fast.
