I managed to survive 5 hours of pit practice...SOOOO LAME!

Apocalyptic Raids 03-18-2006 07:32 PM

pit practice?

Bartender 03-18-2006 07:35 PM
I just had a look.

No really, someone needs to figure this out and explain it to me. I can feel my sanity dripping out of my ears.

Wish I'd never stumbled on it.

Jom going to class

lawl
Dude, check out those short-shorts and that guy's massive boner.

Bartender: I went to the site... if you keep refreshing/checking the pages that follow, it seems like people respond to whatever you input. It's kind of... lame.

It would be better if he was wearing those sunglasses though.

:-D

Yeah, I've tried stuff like that (and found how to repond to whatever comments come up), but I've yet to see the same message twice, let alone anything I've entered. It hurts.

EDIT: It is extremely lame, though. This I cannot deny.

Lord Abortion 03-18-2006 07:57 PM

If you keep going for long enough, you see what you wrote.

gmoneyguy 03-18-2006 08:04 PM

I just got Trillian installed.

I might go see V for Vendetta tonight.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-18-2006 08:09 PM

I used to use Trillian.

I still would, but it didn't run great on my pc.

Jom 03-18-2006 09:40 PM

I'm a big proponent for Trillian, heh. It's convenient for my personal AIM contacts and then MX contacts on MSN. If MX people need me on AIM for some reason, I just open up the actual AIM client.
pit practice?
Orchestra for school play. I play guitar for it for some reason...counts towards extracurricular activity, which you need to do a crapload of in high school.

I really, truly can't stand it though. Conductor can't keep time, and won't admit he's wrong.

Yeah, I just discovered the novelty of the exclamation point. It reminds me of Eric's yourlittlesecrets site in that they both are pretty stupid.

I have about three AIM contacts, so it wasn't an issue :-D

blue3 03-19-2006 12:37 AM

I rarely use AIM anymore. Most people I know use MSN anyways.

Jom 03-19-2006 12:43 AM

Heh, I still use DeadAIM to log my conversations and clone AIM clients. It's a nifty little thing, really.

*gulp*

Well, I will most assuredly lose power, and the Uni will be closed too, so I will not be online for a while, my fellows.

By the way, email me and tell me if this makes a blip on the radar in North America, or Europe. I doubt it will, of course. We were forcefed almost 6 weeks of coverage on Hurricane Katrina, though.

Also, the ALL IN CAPS parts are their doing, not mine.

As Bartender said
Nice of them to shout the relevant parts for you
Apocalyptic Raids 03-19-2006 06:11 AM

When I saw that on the news I though of you. Seriously.

:-*

Jev 03-19-2006 06:12 AM

I haven't seen it on the news yet.

all the best dude, no sleep tonight

Josh 03-19-2006 08:08 AM

that looks like a fun forecast.

my arm feels like it's going to fall off, and my shoulder is massively bruised, i just fired about 250 shotgun rounds.

gmoneyguy 03-19-2006 09:43 AM

V for vendetta is such an awesome movie. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Jev 03-19-2006 09:58 AM

Sky News have had a feature on perms but nothing on this storm. Shows how important your country is eh?

Moses 03-19-2006 10:44 AM

I prefer last FM to be honest.

Edit - I've also never really tried Pandora so I can really share my opinion.

Josh 03-19-2006 11:45 AM

last FM = new audioscrobbler, records what you listen to, gives stats on favourite songs / artists etc.

pandora.com suggests new artists for you to listen to.

so what is V For Vendetta about?
