Thanks, Joe, but a) I don't know how to shrink a picture without the animation halting, and b) I don't watch manga :)
Nice name change, but you don't watch manga, you read it. :p

Anyone here know where I can purchase a Sodom t-shirt online? Everywhere I go is either disconnected from the web, or in German and payable only in Euros.

Lord Abortion 07-10-2005 02:14 PM

clearvision... razorlight??? you used to be cool.
Oh, c'mon Jelle...REM?
I'm not a huge fan, but after seeing them live (They closed Werchter). I wanted to bring back some memories. A lot of their songs are boring, but they have a bunch of good songs as well.

Illmatic 07-10-2005 02:17 PM

I stand by my stepdad's assertion that they're one of the wimpiest, most boring bands ever.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-10-2005 02:19 PM

I saw them on Live8. They were one of the better performances, but when you look at some of the artists they were stacked up against, it stands to reason. :p I don't listen to REM on a daily basis, or really at all, but they're not too bad. :)

Arucard 07-10-2005 02:23 PM

I shall now whore my band. If you haven't us before, listen to our punk antics.

Guitar is wayyyy to low in the mix.

Lord Abortion 07-10-2005 02:29 PM

I like REM... pretty cool -the graveworm version of losing my religion is way better than the origonal though

bloody punk kids, coming over here, stealing our music :p

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-10-2005 02:30 PM

What kind of recording equipment do you guys have Joe?

Arucard 07-10-2005 02:30 PM

Ashman lives in Hull, the home of Uk's best punk band : The Freaks Union.

/Edit : Back 4 months ago when that was done, not much. Cubase, SM58 vocals mics, some shoddy drum mics. Now we have alot of better stuff, we are just to busy to record.

Lord Abortion 07-10-2005 02:36 PM

Hello kids.

I'm in Seattle on vacation, and it's pretty enjoyable. Also, I'm not working for once this month, that is cause for celebration, how is everyone else's day going?

Stoic 07-10-2005 03:10 PM

my day is actually ending in a couple of hours. I'm on vacation too but I really dont feel like leaving home. I'm afraid too much time/energy is being wasted on the internet and music.

this is my weekly chart on audioscrobbler in case someone cares. I havent seen it for ages. I couldnt even remember the password.

1 Mr. Bungle
1 Solefald
3 Sleep Terror
3 Amon Amarth
3 At The Gates
3 Cephalic Carnage
7 Nile
7 Hate Eternal
7 Suffocation
10 The Dillinger Escape Plan

ermm...I didnt mean to...I justtttaaa...

/hides

seriously, for me Internet is mainly a tool for having access to information concerning music and for communicating with people who listen to music I do. Sometimes though, I wonder if the music actually worth the time (and money) I spend on it.

Bazarov 07-10-2005 03:26 PM

Lord Abortion I want to thank you for She Was Asking For It. You said the vocals were special, and yeah I actually liked the vocals on that song. Usually, Chris's voices irratites me.

Josh 07-10-2005 03:27 PM

ah, in 24 hours i will be on holiday in France :D
for me, the internet is a means of communicating and getting info, and also for playing games over. but sometimes i reckon i spend far too long on my computer...

Bazarov 07-10-2005 03:28 PM

What's in France?

Stoic 07-10-2005 03:30 PM

Where in France?

Josh 07-10-2005 03:31 PM
What's in France?
EDIT: that answered MetalFan's question as well.

And pastries. Baking is the best idea the French ever had.

Bazarov 07-10-2005 03:34 PM

That's cool. My school doesn't do that many out of country trips. I know the AVID class at mine got to go to Italy for 2 weeks. Lucky people.
