Robert Crumb 11-08-2006 01:32 AM

Ali Farka Toure and Jacques Brel. Both are pretty neat. I'm also digging this quote from Albert Schweitzer: "There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats."

br3ad_man 11-08-2006 01:36 AM

My friend bought me FutureSex/LoveSounds yesterday, just because she's nice. So I've been digging that.

pixiesfanyo 11-08-2006 02:22 AM

Like the quote Crumb.

Little Man being Erased 11-08-2006 02:24 AM

I don't like cats.

pixiesfanyo 11-08-2006 02:26 AM

Well, I always knew you were a faggot.

Electronic Wolf 11-08-2006 02:31 AM

I keep coming back to Apparat.

Robert Crumb 11-08-2006 02:31 AM

I used to be more of a dog person, but that was only because I'd only been exposed to ****ty cats. They're really pretty amazing/entertaining.

Electronic Wolf 11-08-2006 02:39 AM

I hate the cats that live around my house. You can hear them making all kinds of noise at night and it's frustrating because sometimes I like to sleep, but they won't let me! But those are just a few lame cats. I had a friend that owned two cats and one of them was cute. The other one was a bastard.

Little Man being Erased 11-08-2006 02:44 AM

Cats are for faggots, man.

Zmev 11-08-2006 04:57 AM

Cats are for real men. Especially 2 cats.
Silver Jews - American Water

Oh man am I loving this. David Berman writes the best lyrics. And "Night Society", being a really fun song to jam to, makes it even better.
Best album.

Happymeal 11-08-2006 09:56 AM

I used to have 12 street cats living in my old house. Good times.

mr_jackalope 11-08-2006 10:36 AM

I'm highly allergic to cats.

AlienEater 11-08-2006 11:35 AM

I like cats.

I've dug
Battle of Mice - A day of nights
Glenn Branca - The Ascension
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
today

pixiesfanyo 11-08-2006 12:16 PM

Callisto - Noir

Glitterati 11-08-2006 01:35 PM
Cats are for real men. Especially 2 cats.
I have 3. My parents = crazy cat people.

Anxious 11-08-2006 01:43 PM

Enjoy your hair all over the fucking place.

pixiesfanyo 11-08-2006 01:58 PM

At least it's not **** all over the place.

Like a dog leaves.

Jawaharal 11-08-2006 01:58 PM

I sorta have a cat. I stopped caring for it and stuff a while ago so it just roams the neighborhood and sometimes comes to my house. It's been run over and shot and it is still alive.

Kayo Dot - Choirs Of The Eye

pixiesfanyo 11-08-2006 02:03 PM

^ They lost four members.

That is horrible...

RX-Bandits are amazing.

Little Man being Erased 11-08-2006 03:47 PM

Daft Punk - Discovery

Still. It sure is a lot better than Homework.

Kyle 11-08-2006 04:16 PM

The Album Leaf - Into The Blue Again
Cursive - The Storms of Early Summer

Food - Last Supper
Grizzly Bear - Yellow House
Listened to these doing my second carbon-wash intaglio. I think this one may even be an improvement. I was told it was very 'evocative', so that was nice.

Hüsker Dü - Zen Arcade
I think I enjoy more with each listen. The best part is when I have the actual CD with me. I purchased a used copy a long time ago, but it still has traces of it's previous owner's odor. Pickles and nicotine. Seems fitting.

Its essential to have the actual cd, seeing as you can't understand the lyrics at all.

Unless you are some type of fucker and look the lyrics up online.
