no not the Linux one or the hacker groups. but uh there are a couple of decent emo ones with uploads and ****. obviously the biggest ones consists of scenesters, but look for the little ones. like the one started by that band uh Caitlyn Baily? or was it another band? can't remember. they all are called "something something skramz something".

Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine's one vocalist does some growling, and it's not bad either. I'll link you to a site with their entire discography, just lemme find it quick.

I've been wondering what the actual difference between emo and screamo is. Is screamo effectively a more aggressive emo? And would Off Minor, CTTS etc. be emo or screamo? It confuses me.

some people try to label the late '90s scene that started to combine grind rhythms into the sound as "screamo" i.e. Orchid, Jerome's Dream, etc. i think that is stupid and just label it all emo.

labels suck but are useful with people who know what you mean when you say them. that's the definition i use, and its the one my friends use but in general i just say hardcore.

no but, seriously people who try to say that its stupid to label something like orchid as something different than, say, fugazi is mad retarded. screamo's a label like melodic death metal, it's useful as hell when people are looking for recommendations.

for instance, if someone says, i'm looking for emo bands like chune, you wouldn't recommend them score one for safety. conversely if someone's like, i'm looking for screamo bands like score one for safety, you wouldn't recommend them chune. note that the use of screamo would imply bands along the line of sofs while emo might imply bands like chune to people.

ctts are phenomenal, or at least "as the roots undo" is

i'm not saying theyre the best emo band there is or ever was or anything, but that album is 100% solid from start to end
