Yeah, I guess. I just always hated having shirts that never fit me, and I was just much too lazy to take a sewing machine to them (and I tried a few times, and always messed them up), so I just buy blank shirts that fit well and stencil logos on. Some of them look quite good.

Why buy something that you can make for cheaper?

Electronic Wolf 12-09-2006 11:57 PM

I made a stencil once. It was the cover of Dismemberment Plan's !

I don't know what happened to it. :(

Well, at least I got tix for Melvins + Flipper today.
I could have been at that. It would have been awesome.

I actually do make some of my own shirts, I just happened to have a gift cirtificut and that was one of the few non-shitty shirt there.

And for those who dislike the Ramones, I don't know what to say to you...

Kyle 12-10-2006 07:32 AM

It's also cool to wear shirts of local bands.

There's a band around my neck of the woods that made and distributed shirts before any of them were even in the same room together.

I got my Fender Jaguar. It's orgasmic to say the least.

Zappa 12-10-2006 05:46 PM

A friend of mine has a jaguar. All my guitar playing friends lust after it.

Tottally worth 6-months of saving working as a dishwasher :)

The Jungler 12-10-2006 06:16 PM

I'm about 2/3 of the way to getting one/another guitar I really want.

I can't wait.

_Mote_ 12-10-2006 06:20 PM

What are you getting?
I got my Fender Jaguar. It's orgasmic to say the least.
Freaking crazy. I just got my fender Jaguar! I found out my uncle had a 67' fender Jaguar sitting in his freaking basement, and nearly died. It is all original (still has the jag bridge, which I was thinking of replacing w/ a mustang's. . . but I kind of like it) and even has that crazy mute thing. . . which is terrible, but really cool to have. also, the pickups in it are great. I dont really understand why people hate them so much.

Also of note is the really cool 'made in usa' sticker(?) located under the bridge.

It is my new girlfriend.

Awesome! Mine's the re-issue, so even thought that's not as cool, they improved on the tuing problem, so that's defidently a plus.

And whoever hates Jag's need to be decapitated.

My band members were so jealous when I brought it to practice today (they all play guitar).

I love it like a child.

NineBitFable 12-10-2006 06:35 PM

haha, yea my bandmate was pretty jealous as well. Not only does it sound perfect, but it is honestly the coolest looking guitar ever. Chrome for life.

Did you get Japanese reissue or American?

Eliminator 12-10-2006 07:07 PM

Jazzmasters are better.

pikester 12-11-2006 12:30 AM

So I'm not seeing ...Trail of Dead/Blood Brothers right now.

Should I have bothered? I'm assuming they'll both just play a bunch of crappy new stuff.

pixiesfanyo 12-11-2006 12:40 AM

I wish I didn't have a small gut. :(

bleep_bloop 12-11-2006 12:41 AM

Little Man being Erased 12-11-2006 12:41 AM

meh I would have went although they probably are playing a lot of crap from the new album when I saw them they played a bunch of songs from Source Tags but then again I liked Worlds Apart so I enjoyed all those songs. They get really into it at every show too.
