Their new cd is like glued into my cd player. I just can't stop listening to it. So awesome.

NP: Coheed and cambria - Apollo I The Writing Writer
If it was glued in there it wouldn't be playing haha just kidding.

Gnarmageddon 09-29-2005 06:17 PM

33 has been stuck in my head ALL DAY.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-29-2005 06:19 PM

Ha I just listened to 33!

Mute Print 09-29-2005 06:20 PM

I just realized that I've only listened to the new album once.

I don't usually listen to a band more than once a week. Plus I usually listen to bands that I'm going to see soon. So this week I've been listening to Punchline, Pennywise, and some Marathon.

The song so good it's on the album twice. I like it a whole lot :)

By the way, the band is playing near me in concert tonight, but I have stuff to do and a test tomorrow morning so I can't go. But my friend is going and he said he'll tell Claudio I said hi. :D

DepthsOfDreams555 09-29-2005 06:23 PM

Dude I am going to see them on Saturday I am so pumped!!

Mute Print 09-29-2005 06:24 PM

I still have to wait over a month to see them. Oh well, that will give me time to listen to the CD some more.

Gnarmageddon 09-29-2005 06:30 PM

I've listened to the new CD twice all the way through. I still don't know what I think about it. It has some really good songs, and some meh songs.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-29-2005 06:32 PM

I have listened to it like 10000 times but literally probably over 20 times maybe not completely but I have listened to it a ton and IMO there really aren't any weak songs Mother May I, I think is the worst track but its still good. I think Good Apollo is just as good as In Keeping Secrets but SSTB is still better than both.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-29-2005 06:39 PM

Since I got the CD last Tuesday when it came out I havn't listened to anything else. I listen to the CD at least 3 times a day.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-29-2005 06:40 PM

I have yet to figure out its place with the other albums.

YDload 09-29-2005 06:41 PM
I have yet to figure out its place with the other albums.
I think it's definitely better than IKSSE, but probably not quite as stellar as SSTB. By the way, does anyone else think "Crossing the Frame" sounds like it could fit on the first album? Other than the bridge with the keys and harmonies in it, it seems like it would work perfectly on SSTB.

The Crowing 09-29-2005 07:21 PM
No I believe you haha I'm just saying alright saying I read it and I am taking in what you say haha. How did you find that out though?
Cobaltandcalcium.com >_> <_<...yeah.

Oh, and Mother May I is an amazing song, one of my favorites.

Dude you say all the songs are your favorites you have to critique(Sp?) some of them.

This is my Mother May I, I like it alot. (ends show-n-tell rant)

Society Sellout 09-29-2005 09:00 PM

... I'm beginning to get disappointed... I had the new cd in my cd player for about 3 days and listened to it a total of about 10 times all the way through and I thought I liked it... till I went back and listened to the other two albums again and realized it doesn't really hold a light to them. With SSTB and In Keeping I loved the whole album and could easily listen all the way through but with GA I find myself forcing myself to not skip tracks :/. They are some very good songs though like Welcome Home and Ten Speed.

AIRIC 09-29-2005 09:02 PM

That happens a lot. It's unfortunate, but that happens. Same thing happened with the new AM! record.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-29-2005 10:58 PM

I still need to get the STTB re-release

Sep 09-30-2005 02:08 AM

What's different about the re-release?

DepthsOfDreams555 09-30-2005 05:56 AM

It has three new songs on it, Junesong Provision(Acoustic), Everything Evil(Demo), and an unreleased one Elf Tower.

Pete 09-30-2005 06:04 AM

"Second Stage Turbine Blade"
"In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3"
"Good Apollo I Am Burning Star IV"

So, number one? Is it the Shabutie crap, or is it coming or what?

DepthsOfDreams555 09-30-2005 06:06 AM

No it is comming, they meant to do that.

Pete 09-30-2005 06:10 AM

Yeah, I assumed so. Releasing the albums in "chronological" order wouldn't be pretentious enough for them :p

DepthsOfDreams555 09-30-2005 06:14 AM

Haha, ya I'm not sure why they did it this way.

masterchief 09-30-2005 07:19 AM

I don't think they're as good as people make them out to be. They aren't bad though.

TMA 09-30-2005 10:08 AM

So... album's been out for a little over a week now. Ten days.
I now know how to play Welcome Home, Ten Speed (Of God's Blood And Burial), The Suffering, and The Lying Lies And Dirty Secrets Of Miss Erica Court.

I already know how to play a quarter of the album.

The Crowing 09-30-2005 12:12 PM

Yeah..you're right. I think they're better.

I know how to play all the songs. I just double-click the file named "00-coheed_and_cambria-good_apollo_im_burning_star_iv_volume_one_from_fear_through_the_eyes_of_madness-2005-tc.m3u" and I play them all.

Oh, you meant on an instrument..?

Kif 09-30-2005 01:47 PM

If someone could scan the actual cover and post it up I'd really appreciate that
