they're okay, not really interesting or distinct enough to be good or bad

so they sound like a DM band?

basically yeah, really generic contemporary death metal. lots of really fast drumming and some shreddy leads and a vocalist whose style i cant remember for the life of me

yeah that show is coming to my town but i'm seeing a local show instead to support my friend's bands because honestly, The Faceless and Obscura are good, but kind of a borefest live. The Faceless was alright when I saw them on SS.

i would like to see them, but i'm not a huge fan of the new record. And i assume that's what they'll mostly play

They have beer and it's only sixteen bucks to go. :) Plus I really like the venue. It was a movie theater in the twenties and it's just a really cool place to see shows.
