Janeway 02-05-2006 01:58 PM

I really hope my guitar teacher doesn't leave until after August 20.
I don't want to get stuck buying a cheap $100 nylon string guitar.

crazyguy832 02-05-2006 02:01 PM

Are you talking about me, Hope?

If you are... yes... yes, I am.

Tyr 02-05-2006 02:08 PM

You're damn right I'm talking about you, crazyguy.

rockindrummer 02-05-2006 02:13 PM

I should probally reformat my hard drive though I truly don't want to burn all of my cds to disk.

Trev 02-05-2006 02:21 PM

I've only got 25GB left, on a 120GB HDD. I downloaded Black & White 2 yesterday, and I don't even like it. :/ I need to get rid of stuff.

I'm downloading series two of I'm Alan Partridge at the moment, kiss my face! Anyone else watch Alan Partridge?

Drum Phil 02-05-2006 02:22 PM

Oh is that it? I have 4.91Gb on a 200Gb HDD :)

Trev 02-05-2006 02:25 PM

Just deleted Drums of Thought and Liquid Drum Theater, now on 27.2GB.

edit -
Butter my arse
Cashback!

Anyway, i have come to you to ask a question. I have been drumming for five years now, and breaking skins has never been a problem, until i recently took up drumming in a thrash metal band, and i've broken two snare skins in under 3 weeks. Do Remo or Evans do any stronger heads that i could use?

Thanks in advance.

Panopticon 02-05-2006 02:29 PM

get an Evans Power Center...great head for sure...

Motleyguy 02-05-2006 02:37 PM

Well, I watched FF7 Advent Children last night. It was so awesome.

Whoah nice. I'm only on 500k and NTL have now agreed to hand over the details of file sharers to the High Court, so I'll have to cut down my downloading.

Although I absolutely cannot stand Friends, its just a generic over-exaggerated American comedy. I've never really liked an American sitcom, I've always loved British humour.

Drum Phil 02-05-2006 02:47 PM

Ive got 2mb AOL :-/ They're probably too busy being shocked at the servers working to notice me downloading

Trev 02-05-2006 02:49 PM

Haha yeah thats true.

I was on 1.5mb for a bit, as NTL upgraded me for free, but I told them to piss off and put me back on 500kb, as 1.5mb had a 3gig monthly bandwidth limit, which is ridiculous.

Drum Phil 02-05-2006 02:51 PM

Yeah my mums wanadoo has a 2Gb cap and i hate it. NTL have started using a 75Gb monthly cap here. Although thats for the new 10Mb broadband.

raz0r 02-05-2006 02:53 PM

Haha, monthly caps for the lose.

I'm on a 5Mb-ish line, with no monthly cap.
Too bad there's something wrong with my router, so I can never get any decent speed on filesharing programs/torrents.

nice dude. FF is the way to go.:thumb:

edit: In other news, Good Apollo by Coheed and Cambria = amazing album. I've had it for awhile, and just feel like exclaiming how amazing it is.

Corkofski 02-05-2006 03:58 PM

the reason friends is generic is cause it was the first?

Drum Phil 02-05-2006 04:04 PM

Sounds about right

Jezen 02-05-2006 05:25 PM

This place is dead right now.

TTTSNB 02-05-2006 05:27 PM

Who here likes Mahavishnu Orchetra?

Jezen 02-05-2006 05:48 PM

I do! They are on my playlist.

Motleyguy 02-05-2006 06:06 PM
Who here likes Mahavishnu Orchetra?
me Me ME!!!

Cobham has some sweet grooves and the songs are pretty wicked.
A word of advice to all, don't let people drink in your room, because then they puke in your couch. Then you spend an hour and a half steam cleaning your couch and carpet, and it still ****ing reiks of vomit. GOD DAMNIT I AM SO ANGRY.

/rant out.

Corkofski 02-05-2006 06:09 PM

lol
i had a hoody belonging to my mate in my room for a week.

he'd puked and spilt beer all over it, and my mum refused to wash it...

Janeway 02-05-2006 06:10 PM

I caught myself making the subconscious decision to overdose on cocaine in the future today. It sort of worried me, but I think it's a good way to go out.
Everybody will pity me for being caught in a sticky web of addiction and depression, and I'll become a dark little secret forced into the depths of my family's history.

Oh, and I've got the runs.

Motleyguy 02-05-2006 06:10 PM

haha
my friends leave **** like that at my place all time.
I just chuck em out the back door.

Drum Phil 02-05-2006 06:10 PM

Ive been sober for a whole week :D

TTTSNB 02-05-2006 06:20 PM
I do! They are on my playlist.
Sweet, I really dig every musician, especially Cobham, his drumming is so creative and awesome always. Does anyone have any transcriptions?, I'm finding it pretty hard to pick up by ear.
